“Poor service over priced”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012 via mobile

My wife & I's first time in Door County. Went to Harbor Fish Market for the Lobster Boil. Service was horrible. At first they seemed to ignore us then the waitress who served us was very short and not good with her English, could not understand her. Lobster boil was $ 55.00. Very disappointed will never go back.

“Very Good Sandwiches, Great View!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

This was recommended by the docent at Cana Island Lighthouse nearby, ad he steered us right. The restaurant is on the water in Baileys Harbor. Our table had a great water view. My wife and I both had the Harbor Melt Sandwich--turkey, cheese, and cole slaw--very, very good! Our service was very efficient also. A friendly atmosphere!

“Amazing Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2012

We were in Door County in June for our honeymoon and stayed just down the street at the Blacksmith Inn, and we came to the Fish Market 5 times in 4 days the food was that good! No matter what you get there, whether it be breakfast, lunch, or dinner, it is amazing! We tried their prime rib, kobe steak, seafood specials, and their lobster boil, among other things, and they were phenomenal. I would recommend this place to everyone, and we will absolutely be coming back!

“We never get tired of Harbor Fish Market”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

We travel to Door County, Wisconsin every fall for a week of relaxation that includes enjoying the fine dining there. For the past 3 or 4 years we rate the Harbor Fish Market as one of our favorites (in part, no doubt, because we like good seafood). Our favorite entree is the scallops, served with blood red sauce and risotto cake and vegetables - the dry-pack scallops they serve are far superior to scallops at most restaurants and have never disappointed us. The escargot, served with mushrooms in a puff pastry, are also excellent. There are outside tables for dining on a warm evening, and the atmosphere inside, while not "elegant," is comfortable (lots of art on the walls). The wine selection is quite good, and the servers are attentive (but not over-bearing). If you're looking for good seafood or an excellent meal on the "quiet side" of the peninsula, it's hard to beat Harbor Fish Market.

“Great place for lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2012 via mobile

We stopped for lunch one day and liked it so well that we made another trip from Egg Harbor the next day. I had Waleye one day and lake Mich. perch the next day. Both meals were excellent. My wife had their black bean soup and salad both day's said it was wonderful. I defeneitly recommend this place as the service and food was very good. The prices were in line with all the other restaurants in the area .
