Wonderful 90 minute tour. So interesting. Had a fabulous docent who was trained, knowledgeable, and humorous. Well worth the money. Highly recommend.

“A little Long”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

Great history in this tour but it could have been done in a half of an hour instead of an hour and a half. The tourguide was friendly and knowledgable.

“Terrific insight into a time past”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

Our Greenbrier tour guide for the "Bunker Tour" was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. She provided insights into how it was built, maintained, and decommissioned after its existence was exposed by the Washington Post. The accommodations for the full House and Senate plus one aide each was far from lavish -- but essential for maintaining continuation of government in the event of an attack on DC. The enormous steel vault doors were impressive. No photos allowed as the facility.

“Interesting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

The Greenbriar bunker tour was interesting and detailed. The tour guide was knowledgeable. It was the third tour of the resort that I participated in. It was interesting to learn how the bunker was built without the general public being aware and how part of the facility was used by the public... Hidden but in sight. I thought the tour was a bit expensive. I grew up in West Virginia and have always wanted to visit the area. I am glad that I had he opportunity to visit the resort and see the bunker.

“Wow Fascinating!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2013

My sisters and I found the Greenbrier to be gorgeous and to have this interesting bunker underneath it seems incredible. It seems crazy that something that large was kept a secret for so long. The details that went into making it and then running it for all those years. The details of keeping everything updated were fascinating. We were so glad we made it part of our vacation.
