I stayed at this location while attending a seminar at Antietam Battlefield. This hotel is located within minutes of the battlefield and is very easily accessible. My stay was comfortable and the room was very clean. Highly reccomend this location if visiting the Antietam area.

Things can get pricey at this little college town. We found the Comfort Inn to be comfortable, nice breakfast, and had a friendly front desk staff, especially Jacob. I had left my GPS at home and arrived Sheperdstown to road construction and wall to wall traffic. I called the Comfort Inn and Jacob was very courteous and explained in detail how to get there. After arriving and when checking in Jacob also gave us local information and a map with places to eat. Most of the places were downtown and he did explain there is very little parking. There are meters but only for 90 minutes. He did explain that the walk is only 20 minutes. We did the walk on Saturday and he was correct almost to the minute.

I feel we could not have asked for a better reception and wish all the hotels' staff were as courteous and friendly.

The only complaint I have is that the towels were quite thin and need to be replaced.

The room was very nice and quiet! The room appeared to have been remodeled recently and everything was clean and in good order. The king-size bed was very comfortable! Our room was #215 and the only small complaint is that bathroom was much smaller than was expected. The sink was very small and there was little room for toiletries.

The breakfast was excellent and we especially liked the eggs, which were made in the form a small cheese omlets. The bacon was crisp and the coffee was excellent.

The only complaint is that this facility doesn't have a hot tub, which would have been nice after hiking all day around Harper's Ferry.

We stopped here for one night. Price was ok and the place appeared clean. My wife and I both woke up itching from bug bites. We checked the bed and could see nothing. We had their continental breakfast and the milk was warm that was out for the cereal. Never again!
