We stayed here last night on our way back to Western New York from South Carolina. I called them Friday after reading reviews on Trip Advisor to see if they had connecting rooms available. Fortunately they did. Jeremy transferred me to reservations to book my two rooms while he checked in guests, and said to confirm back with him when I'd done this and he would go ahead and block off the connecting rooms. We did so without incident. However, upon arriving it appeared that someone had inadvertently broken up our block and there was someone in one of our rooms. Jeremy acted quickly and found us two more connecting rooms and went up to ensure they were in satisfactory condition and ready for us, which they were. We were just going to drop off our things and head to dinner - we noticed the smoke alarms were intermittently beeping so we let him know on our way out. Jeremy was able to change the batteries while we were out and there was no more beeping. We did notice the heater going on and off a bit in 209 (and I will ditto a previous poster about the pillows being a bit too fat) - FYI - but we had a lovely stay otherwise. The rooms were clean and the bathroom in the double queen room was very large! The breakfast buffet was good - had everything my family was looking for. There are only two tables in the breakfast room, but we were up early and had no problems sitting. So, overall, although we had a few minor glitches, they were taken care of courteously and very quickly. It is clear that the front desk staff take pride in their job, and seeing to it that their guests needs are met. The manager (although i did not meet her) has clearly done a wonderful job creating a positive environment for her staff (which creates a positive environment for all guests). Kudos to you all and thanks for a great stay. We will be back on our next drive through!
