The pizza was excellent - we had a "lasagna pizza" with marinara, mozzarella, sausage, and ricotta. This was the choice of the teens in the group and I was afraid it would be too heavy and way too "overdone" with the ingredients. To my delight, it was not a "heavy" pizza, but light and - well - very, very tasty. The homemade marinara at this place is exceptional - fresh and lively rather than overcooked and heavy.
I had a "small" Italian salad, to start, and ended up sharing it with my daughter. The lettuce was nothing to write home about, but all in all, it was a decent salad with fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, olives, etc.
Atmosphere is "college pizza joint." You order at a counter, and the pizza is brought to you. Cutlery is plastic, if you request it.
