We have chosen Lakeview for our annual fraternity reunion for the past 5 years or so. We are very well taken care of by the staff, who now comes to expect us every September. Very accomodating to the golfers in our group and very tolerant of 40 somethings who show up very year and pretend they are 20 for a weekend.

Looking forward to next years trip already

The golf experience was great. The cottage was very roomy, clean and comfortable. Meals were generally very good, other than ribs at the bar. Overall, a very enjoyable time for a first visit to the U.S.

Room Tip: Cottages are great for a larger group or family

We have been to this resort several times. Service has always been excellent and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Food at the restaurants is great; the chiefs and staff try to do their best to make you feel special. They have a great food and wine fest in January, and also great Valentines, Mother's Day and other activities year round. Great for golfers, food enthusiasts and families. Would highly recommend to friends and family, have done so several times.

Room Tip: Have been there several times and never had a problem with noise.

We stayed there for a weekend to watch a WVU game. The rooms were fairly price especially when other hotels on football weekends take you for a ride. They were a little outdated but very clean and setup nicely. Sports bar and outside deck were both great especially to watch other games tvs looked brand new in the bar. Dinner buffet on the Friday was wonderful breakfast service was nice. Would like to stay there again next time we are in for a game

I arrive for a convention at what was supposed to be a resort a found out it was a dump. The only thing missing was the bulldozer to move the trash and a compactor to make the rubble smaller.

This is one filthy and outdated hotel. I made it one night and checked out.

The public health convention area was equally as poor. How about no soap in the restrooms - at a public health conference. Nasty!

Wow what shock. This resort has gone downhill! I was here almost ten years ago and the experience was completely different. This trip was very disappointing. The hallways smelled like urine and old food. My room has cobwebs in several places, a sock was left behind by the previous guest, the toilet tank is cracked and the entire room smelled of mildew. One think might be overlooked this many is unacceptable. I would have left if this was a business trip and stayed elsewhere. The conference service wasn't much better. Food was horrible they put served cold soup. GO ELSEWHERE! Don't waste your money!!!!
