“Very pleasant stay.”

Hotel was right off the interstate. was very clean and the kids loved the pool and hot tub! Breakfast was surprisingly pretty good. The sitting area in the lobby is very nice and cozy, great wood work. Hotel staff was very professional will definitely stay again when we are visiting Morgantown.

The rooms in this hotel definitely need a facelift. The breakfast area and pool were nice. The room was very dimly lit and although we had a non-smoking room, it smelled of smoke. The carpet was dirty so I didn't take off my shoes until I went to bed. The staff was nice and friendly and even provided us with printed directions to the Harley dealer in the area. This hotel was overpriced and the room safe wouldn't open but we were charged $1.25 for the use of the safe :(

The front doors to the hotel desperately need paint! It is a bad first impression. The lobby had a very unpleasant odor as soon as you entered. If I hadn't already made a reservation that couldn't be cancelled, I wouldn't have stayed because of the odor. The room was okay; very old and dated; lighting is dim; had to turn on every light to see anything. Bathroom was clean and the room seemed clean; it was hard to tell because of the lighting. Breakfast was pretty good; the lobby was an inviting area to sit and have breakfast (the odor was gone in the morning). Having just stayed in a Comfort Inn & Suites in Springfield, MO, this one was a big disappointment in comparison.

We walked in the room on 2nd floor and the carpet was so disgusting. There were so many stains on the carpet it looked like someone had used it as the toilet. There were multiple burned areas as well. Clearly noone vaccuumed recently there were dead bugs and miscellaneous pieces of paper laying on floor. The picture on the wall was cracked and loose glass inside of it. The bed cover was stained and little burn marks were on it. The bathroom was not too bad but the towels were worn and the amenities...shampoo soap etc were hospital issue grade. The price was ffreaking rediculous for the shape of the room. The lobby was nice...This room was so bad I am inclined to contact Choice motels corporate office and let them know that this Choice motel is a poor reflection and will NEVER stay there or any other Choice Motel. Not worth it!

Not real good, not real bad.....

The mattresses should have been replaced a while ago - somewhat lumpy.
the room was OK - no blackout drapes to pull across.
the reviewer who mentioned no nearby restaruant was correct.
Breakfast was OK - but not as many offerings as we had been accustomed to a Comfort Inns.
So....your choice - not terrible, not wonderful - it's a hotel room.

Hotel not close to Restaurants in area. There was a restaurant next door to property but it was closed down and vacant. Rooms good condition for construction workers but not a romantic getaway in very much need of updating. Don't know why pillows in these hotels cannot be replaced every two or 3 months considering local businesses sell them for $4. Very noisy can here every door slam closed, persons talking in hallways. Priced very high for location considering the amenities. Would not stay here again. In fact on return trip home stayed at another location in the Morgantown area.

What happened? New manager! Had stayed here in Oct. And wrote a very good review--now I have to take back all (well at least almost all)those compliments. This is what we didn't have this time--no clock -in a hotel? No ironing board-we were expected to iron our hospital and later funeral clothes on the bed? No fridge or microwave (had both in October). Now onto my sister's room-sheets were filthy (had to ask them to be changed immediately), no coffee pot, no fridge, no microwave, and the dirtiest chair ever-should be in the trash and not donated to the poor. They used one of their sheets to cover it. BUT THE WORST ISSUE WAS THEY ASKED TO SEE OUR DRIVER'S LICENSE AND PROCEEDED TO MAKE A COPY!!!! When we ask why for all of these issues the answer was the new manager (picked up his card on the front desk ledge) Scott ( won't put his last name in to protect his privacy--wait he invaded ours-- was making a few changes and that he likes to know how is staying at "his hotel". WE WON'T! Breakfast and front desk were good and pleasant.
