This is the first time I've stayed at a AmeriHost Inn. The staff is so friendly and knowledgable on area attractions.The hotel was clean and comfortable. I loved all the little touchs for the fall season. Great place to stop on I-77. Added bonus in the morning when I woke up I looked out the window to see two deer grazing on the hill behind the hotel.

“Non-smoker's nightmare”

What happened? This is the 3rd time I have stayed at this hotel--the first two visits were nice, but this time I was very disappointed. The upstairs hallway smelled of cigarette smoke. My non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke--it was coming in from the bathroom vent. I finally had to close the bathroom door and open the window to get some sleep.

The hall carpets had dried mud on them.

There is no high-speed internet access here. All of the surrounding hotels have it, so there is no reason why this hotel shouldn't.

The desk clerks are very nice and the breakfast is adequate.
