My family and I were on our way through Martinsburg on Interstate 81 and were hungry for pizza. We thought we'd explore the new Target shopping center on the hill above the interstate and that's where we found Ledo Pizza. It's a chain and this was our first experience with it.
We settled on the white pizza which had about four different cheeses on it. Although overcooked a little, the pizza was delicious! There was no sauce (of course), but plenty of olive oil and oil from the cheese to keep it moist. The crust was thin and nothing special, but it certainly didn't detract from the toppings. The pizzas are rectangular and are cut into squares of 2"-3" each. Interesting approach, we thought. It made the pizza seem more like an appetizer than a meal. That was okay with us. A medium had about 20 such squares and was plenty for a light lunch for our family of three. With tip, our bill was less than $13.
The restaurant's setting was nothing special, but it was clean, although the bathrooms could have used some attention. Service was competent and friendly.
