“Warm and Funky”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

Great food with great service in a retro dining room. Much of the food is locally sourced. You feel like you're eating with family..

“Nice Lunch Spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012

My wife stopped in Lewisburg for a side trip. We enjoyed our lunch at the Stardust. Salad was very nice and large enough to share. The lamb stew was a bit on the limp side and smallish in size. Overall the food and service was enjoyable

“Completely charming”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

Had a great meal here with my teenage son. Very charming restaurant in a town that seems to live up to its "coolest small town" reputation. Service was adequate, but not top notch. I like a server who has a little more to say about what is on the menu. That being said, our meals were terrific. My son had the pork shank and I had the Moroccan chicken. Presentation was pretty without being precious. Vegetables in the salad were extraordinarily flavorful. We shared a piece of coconut cake, which was fabulous. This would be a great date restaurant.

“Sandwiches were okay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

The two sandwiches we ordered were just okay, but the service was really slow. We waited at the beginning, middle and end or our time at the Stardust Cafe. It was 1 pm, and crowded, but not full.

“Hit or Miss”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

We've been visiting the Stardust for several years now, and have to say that while we return often you never know what you will get. Service can be spotty, seeming to be slow, not always friendly, and sometimes forgetting orders. The food is generally some of the best in Lewisburg, but it depends on what you order. I had the bun-less burger the other day and it really wound up being tasteless. The tomatoes on it seemed frozen and as they melted they drowned it in water. The blue cheese sauce was a runny white additive that did nothing to enhance the flavor. They were out of avocados so that may have had an impact, but it was not what I expect for $12. On the other hand, within a few days I came back for a BLT and it was great. So, I think it comes up to when you are visiting (hopefully not when they are slammed) and on what you order. But knowing how great the place has been in the past, I expect more.
