“Excellent Time and Trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Stayed here 3 nights to do some rafting, shared with 3 other couples.
Clean, roomy and really very nice.
After rafting the showers were great, but stepping onto the heated floors was awesome, along with our towels hanging on heated towel racks.
Hot tub was definately a plus that we need and enjoyed.
Not much parking, but enough.
Cabins were great, satellite TV was great to watch the Penn State Game, also watched WV/MD game.
Gas fireplace made it cozy.
Loft and TV upstairs was another plus.
Bed was comfy, but the whols structure of the bed was very wobbly.
The log frames squeked, rattled and shimmied everytime my wife or I moved, usually waking the other.

But with that said, we're reserved and going again in September 2013.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

We stayed at the Outback Cabins at Adventures on the Gorge the first week of October and truly enjoyed the ziplines and our stay and have to say that we are planning on going back. However, next time, we'll save the money and just stay somewhere close by instead of on property. I was disappointed in the accomodations considering the expense. Since there are only the two of us, my husband and I, we had to pay an extra fee for the cabin because it normally sleeps 6. It was pretty clean but had a bad smell that we eventually got rid of by going to town and buying air freshener. We've had more comfortable stays at Residence Inns suites. The living room couch was not comfortable for watching TV and the bathroom shower and hot tub was nothing spectacular for the price. I like the cabins in Gatlinburg much better. We wanted to stay on property this time because we're unfamiliar with the area and were afraid we might have trouble getting around and finding the meeting locations for our activities, etc. But now that we've been to the area, it really is easy to find and would be no problem to stay close by and drive in. There wasn't really anything wrong with the cabin, it was just pricey compared to other places we've stayed. But nothing to keep us from coming back and doing some whitewater rafting next time as well as the ziplines! All in all a wonderful vacation.

We had a great off-season meeting and adventure on the Gravity Zipline. Highly recommend the facilities and staff!
