We stayed at the Outback Cabins at Adventures on the Gorge the first week of October and truly enjoyed the ziplines and our stay and have to say that we are planning on going back. However, next time, we'll save the money and just stay somewhere close by instead of on property. I was disappointed in the accomodations considering the expense. Since there are only the two of us, my husband and I, we had to pay an extra fee for the cabin because it normally sleeps 6. It was pretty clean but had a bad smell that we eventually got rid of by going to town and buying air freshener. We've had more comfortable stays at Residence Inns suites. The living room couch was not comfortable for watching TV and the bathroom shower and hot tub was nothing spectacular for the price. I like the cabins in Gatlinburg much better. We wanted to stay on property this time because we're unfamiliar with the area and were afraid we might have trouble getting around and finding the meeting locations for our activities, etc. But now that we've been to the area, it really is easy to find and would be no problem to stay close by and drive in. There wasn't really anything wrong with the cabin, it was just pricey compared to other places we've stayed. But nothing to keep us from coming back and doing some whitewater rafting next time as well as the ziplines! All in all a wonderful vacation.
