This place would be perfect for a group that is going to spend time outdoors in the area. You can't see the river from the cabins. They provide the basic necessities, bed (comfortable enough for kids), an indoor bathroom and a small kitchen space. They also have a tv. This is bunk style accommodations, very rustic with totally unfinished pine interior. They have totally open sleeping accommodations with no privacy other than the restroom. There is a place for a campfire. It's only a few minutes from the river. You call the owners with your credit card number. In a few minutes, after the credit card has been approved, they call you back with the code to the front door, which they say they change every day.
Like I said, it's perfect for a small group. I consider a camper one step above tent camping. These cabins are a step above that. I would definitely recommend them for this purpose. Although I spent the night here with my husband when other area options were sold out, this is not really for whom these are designed. They are for small groups or possibly family who don't plan on doing anything in here, other than sleeping, showering, and maybe a little meal prep. Great price, too.
