Thoroughly enjoyable. 2 minor hiccups nobody could find keys that fit lockers in mens locker room and as we were 1 of 2 cars staying at the Executive Suites I would have preferred a view of something other than the parking lot. Granted I did not ask to change rooms so it's more on me than them. Amenities were wonderful. Room was well above average. Food was delicious both lunch and breakfast. Hope to return and play one of the other courses. Enjoyed meeting and talking to golf pro Justin.

Would recommend the Resort at Glade Springs for families of all size and ages. We had 11 saying in a Chesnut Hills house. Everyone had a bed and plenty of space. Fabulous leisure center with something for everyone! Best customer service ever at a Resort! We even were able to bring our dogs for a flat $50 fee for the trip.

Room Tip: Houses/Rooms of all sizes available. Rooms were very quiet and spacious.

My family stayed at Glades Springs over the 2013 Thanksgiving holiday. Overall the trip was fun! It was a halfway point for us to meet. The property was especially beautiful blanketed in snow. When we arrived Tuesday evening we were excited to go to Bunkers Pub for dinner around 8PM. Unfortunately the food was very average. I would not recommend Bunkers. The next day we went to the Leisure Club and enjoyed the bowling and fitness center. The staff was great...friendly and very helpful. Wednesday evening we were awakened by a pest in the wall. We called the front desk. Someone came immediately and suggested that a squirrel had found its way into the wall. We continued to be visited by the animal each night. We were not offered any type of compensation for the interruption to our sleep. On Friday we called and asked if the $45 per person fee for a horse back ride could be reduced for a group rate with 10 riders. We were told that only the Board could make a fee adjustment and they would not be meeting until January. The January meeting would not be helpful for us...we were leaving on Saturday! We then called and asked for a carriage ride. We were told that it was too icy, however, it was around 40 degrees outside. They told us to call back later. When we called back they said that they were hauling their Christmas props around and could not take us for a ride. We then asked the shuttle driver to show us around the property since we could not go on a carriage ride. He drove so fast it was not really that enjoyable. We tried to make an appointment at the Spa for a manicure, but they did not have any openings. I would suggest that Glade Springs plan some special events during the Thanksgiving holiday for visiting guests. Fortunately, we were so happy to be together as a family that we did not let the setbacks ruin our fun.

We totally lucked out by finding out about this Resort on Priceline. An indoor facility with an indoor pool, Cinema and a bowling alley?? A family with a 3 year old's paradise...Then we got shuttled to dinner....Gorgeous, quiet, lots of deer. Heavenly. We will absolutely be back!!

We got a great deal on Travelzoo, so we decided to give this place a try. We arrived Friday night in the fog and rain- be careful on the ride up to the resort in the dark! Winding and sometimes steep road. The layout is a little confusing at first, especially if you arrive in the dark. We got the hang of it quickly. We stayed in the executive suites to the side of the main lodge. Super cute! There are 8 units to a building, one bedroom, one bathroom suites. The suites are very nice, king beds, clean bathrooms, nice sitting area in the front. They include a microwave and mini fridge. On Saturday we went to check out the activities- we had a lovely trail ride at the equestrian center and that evening after going in to town for dinner we went to the bowling center- we had cosmic bowling all to ourselves! It was quite fun. The best deal is the 2 hours of unlimited bowling. There was a bit of confusion when it came to breakfast, which we had a buy one get one free included with our deal. We were told upon check in we could either eat at the rotunda for buffet or a la carte at the Small Talk Cafe. We decided to do the cafe Saturday and the Buffet Sunday. When we showed up Sunday we were told that the breakfast was in the cafe and that it was still buffet, but made to order. When we got to the cafe, it was a la carte. We also ordered before a large group of 10, but they got served first. We had to wait quite a bit. But, the staff was nice and the food was good, so no huge deal. I would like to come back when it is warmer- very nice place. Oh, as an aside, there is a GREAT restaurant right near the resort called The Dish Cafe!

Room Tip: The Executive suites to the side of the main lodge are VERY nice.

I attended a conference at Glade Springs. It was my first time staying there. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable and I did not hear outside noises. It had the refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and hair dryer, TV in the living area and the bedroom. The heater was a little noisy, but overall at great stay. I had a little difficulty finding the sign that directed you to turn left into the Inn's entrance. Just look for the clock in the middle of the road and turn left. Plan to return to play golf and check out the scenery and their other offerings.
