“A great experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

I made a reservation for 8 people for a bachelor party recently and everything was great.

Hristina put together a special priced fixed menu for us that satisfied everyones wishes. I would highly recommend going the priced fixed route if you have a large group.

“Not bad...but overpriced and a touch unwarranted pretention...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Fifty bucks for steak and a potato is a touch overpriced...to say nothing of paying these prices in the west virginia panhandle...

The good...

+The steak was decent but not spectacular...good flavor, but not juicy..a touch dry. But no serious complaints...
+Sides are served in generous portions. The horseradish mashed potatoes were good.
+It was inside a casino...but I didn't hear the noise and bustle of the thousands of drunks who were throwing their money away...we never felt the noise pollution of the casino.

Needs work

-as mentioned above, it's overpriced. seven dollars for a baked potato? This isn't Manhattan, Seoul, or San Fransisco...
-The staff is a little accustomed to talking to drunk casino patrons...My wife raised an eyebrow when the waiter was talking to her like she was an idiot. Three continents....many countries...your menu isn't complicated, buddy..
-The beer menu was underwhelming. Sam adams is the most 'exotic' domestic beer...

This place serves decent food...but the overpriced food and moderate pretension caused us some giggles...

I would go back...if I was trying to impress a friend who likes to gamble. It's not a bad place...but I wish they would knock off some of the rust.

“A Good Prime Steak House”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013 via mobile

Let me start by stating we have dined at many prime steak houses all across the US so we went to the Final Cut with high expectations. We knew it was at the Hollywood Casino, but did not realize it was actually inside the casino. The smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming as we crossed the casino floor to get to the restaurant, but thankfully it did not permeate the restaurant. The menu was impressive. We started with the prime sliders (burgers) and they were absolutely delicious. We both ordered ribeyes cooked medium. When they arrived, mine was so charred it was inedible. I have eaten many prime steaks cooked with the same or similar method and had never had one that charred. It was also medium well. I informed the server and he returned the steak. The manager soon brought me another steak and it was cooked to order. To compensate for the error, we were given complimentary desserts. I had some strawberry dessert that was fabulous and my husband had apple donuts. If we are ever in the area again, we will eat there again.

“They Don't Skimp on Anything”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013

This is the high-priced restaurant at Chatles Town Races and Slots. The prices are not that high under the circumstances. Try the Ribeye. The wine by the bottle was terrific. Even the doggie bag trays are high quality plastic. Well worth it.

“Final Cut Is A Cut Above”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

Second visit because we loved first visit. Had Jumbo Lump Crab Cake and it was the best crabcake we have ever tasted. No filler, paper thin crust!! Both had filet mignon--cooked to perfection and excellent taste. Wife added lobster tail to hers and said it was fantastic. I had apspragus and baked potato sides. Asparagus was a tad al dente but quite tasty. Potato was absolutely perfect. Again, ended with super delicious pressed coffee. Only disappointment was when waiter failed to thank us for the very generous tip left for him in cash. Just go-- you will love it.
