“Apple Butter Festival Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

Staying at The Manor Inn took our experience of the Berkley Springs Apple Butter Festival
completely over the top of expectations. Ellen & Wesley are outstanding host and treated us as family spending the weekend. Could not ask for for a warmer reception and immediate
acceptance into thier home. We were also impressed with our fellow guest, the conversation
and sharing of experiences was exceptional at breakfast every morning. Add to it that the
breakfast served was outstanding and 5 star daily. Highly recommend The Manor Inn as
a Berkley Springs WVA B&B of choice to share with others

Room Tip: Suggest sharing the experience with 2 nd couple and taking the rear connected rooms with setting a...

“As good as it seems”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012

How often are there 38 reviews and 37 of them are excellent? This gem is absolutely as charming as it looks on the internet. We were greeted by Ellen who is warm and gracious. The front room was beautiful, spotless and heaven after biking all day on the GAP. She showed us other rooms which looked just as cozy and well appointed with interesting antiques. She gave us some great suggestions for dinner and shopping. The real treat of the stay, though, was her outstanding breakfast. I cannot attempt to do it justice. Everything tasted DELICIOUS. Wesley, her husband, chatted with us during our breakfast which was served on one of the most beautiful porches I have ever seen. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this exquisite B&B.

“Bed and Breakfast at its best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2012

My wife and I and our friend Charles stayed at Manor House in Berkeley Springs recently for a couple of nights. This was a wonderful experience and we cannot recommend this B/B highly enough. In Berkeley Springs one has a strong sense of history walking in the footsteps of George Washington among others. So many interesting places to see in the vicinity of the town. It is a wonderful historical town with many nice spas as well. Manor House is a special place in the B/B category especially due to its wonderful hosts, Ellen and Wesley, who make sure you feel like staying at a family house. The building is beautiful and Ellen's breakfast is difficult to match for any establishment. We have wonderful memories staying at Manor House and look forward to a return visit.

“Warm and Wonderful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2012

Stayed with the family at Manor Inn Bed and Breakfast for three nights. To say that it was a wonderful experience would be an understatement. The Manor Inn became a significant part of a great vacation. The hosts, Ellen and Wesley, are wonderful. Very gracious and warm. Both big and little things are done to make the experience so enjoyable. The Manor Inn is a beautiful and inviting historic home. The house defines comfort and charm. There is a great porch for breakfasts, sitting and reading. The living room provides for a nice place to gather, and there is a wonderful record collection that is available for use on the player. The place is both friendly and quiet in the right degree. There were other guests in the house, but the design creates a sense of privacy. The breakfasts are amazing in their own right. Each meal is different and the home cooking is special with delicious fruits, yogurt, sausage, eggs, french toast, quiche, breads and toppings - pumpkin butter, yum. In the late afternoon and evening Ellen puts out freshly baked cookies that are fantastic. The rooms are clean, comfortable and open. A very pleasant and comfortable setting. There is excellent internet wifi. The house was also properly air conditioned and cool during an unusual heatwave. The Manor Inn is also situated in perfect walking distance to Berkeley Springs Park and downtown center. Many fine restaurants are nearby. Just a warm and wonderful experience. It receives my highest recommendation. The only downside is having to leave.

Room Tip: Spend some time relaxing and listening to records in the lovely living room. A great place for read...

“Great Girlfriends Get-Away!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2012

A friend and I traveled to Berkeley Springs recently and stayed at Manor Inn. Ellen was a fantastic hostess. At night, she had homemade lavender shortbread cookies one night and fudge the next. The breakfasts were so wonderful! She served them out on the big front porch. The B&B is located just a short uphill walk from the downtown area. In town, we had some excellent meals at places Ellen recommended plus did the Roman bath and massages at Berkeley State Park. There's a great little antique mall on the other end of the street from the B&B too. They have a common sitting room where my friend and I played cards both evenings We'd definitely stay here again. Fun, fun trip!

Room Tip: If you are going on a girlfriends' vacation, the corner room had 2 comfortable beds. If you hav...
