We checked into the hotel, my dau. and step dau and myself. we had went leaf hunting for the weekend. The area was beautiful. I got this hotel for only $45. that was with taxes. The room was nice. WE had room #209 with spectacular view of the tamarac. The window was huge with a nice window seat my girls loved. We ordered pizza out and then went swimming. GREAT indoor pool and hot tub. very nice and beautiful area. loved the big windows looking out in that room.
alot of nice features about this hotel. my girls loved it. they are 8 and 12. very close to the state park "grandview" where you can see a gorgeous view of "Horseshoe Bend" in the New River.
The breakfast was small the next morning. NOT kid friendly. NO cereal. only juice, muffins and bagels. more of adult breakfast but my kids filled up on mini blueberry muffins.
all in all nice trip.
would definitely stay there again.
