“Rooms need to be updated and bathrooms and doors need to be replaced for all of the rooms”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

I stayed at this hotel which was the only one that was cheap in Beckley, WV and allowed you to have pets in your hotel room. The building is pretty old and the bathroom and the doors are old and falling apart which needs fixing. The toilet has problems and needs to be replaced in all of the rooms and it is also hard to get in and out of your room with the security doors having problems which causes you to be locked out which requires having to slam the door a couple of times to get it to open and doors need to be replaced for all of the rooms. Continental Breakfast was fine but only offered limited choices. The hotel was fine to stay in for at least one night. Hopefully the hotel can fix the bathrooms and replace all of the doors for its rooms and maybe the beds too but the the beds were fine

I reserved a king size room but upon arrival the hotel only had queen sized beds available. The towels were stained with yellow spots, the mattress protector was not secure on the bed but was just laid on top of the mattress and under the sheet, no shampoo or soap was in the room, the mattress itself had stains all over it, and the pillows were so old and wore out it was like sleeping without one at all, and when packing up our things we found a bed bug crawling on the outside of our luggage! I complained to the hotel and nothing was ever done to correct my terrible experience.

was a nice rate and a great room was quite at night but while walking my dog 2 housekeepers were smoking mariunia my 2 children were amazed that the hotel lets there employees get high during work hours. im an Africa American women and it just felt like a desrace that these 2 women were black one half dressed great example for your fellow women and the other one was dressed nice with a big bun it she looked profrossial but getting high on the side of the building should be automatic fired they will never get caught so beware taking your children there unless u want them to get a high contact!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Budget priced motel so did not expect much beyond this. The motel is dated but clean enough so no complaints. Check in was quick and the attendant was friendly. This was nice after a long drive. Them motel has limited but good breakfast included with cereal, bagels, Danish, waffles, fruit, juice, and coffee. Only had cereal and juice but both were fresh. This is a dog friendly motel and there were lots of dogs including ours. Would stay again, but keep in mind this is a dated budget motel.

Ok for an older property. Could use some repairs and could have been a little cleaner. Overall ok for the price.

We will def be returning to Beckley as a rest stop in the future. This hotel was only $70/night. Very clean and newly painted. The king size bed was clean and cozy. There was a jacuzzi downstairs but we got in late so we didn't use it. Perfect location! In waking distance to Applebee's and Outback Steakhouse which are open late. It is literally right off of 77. The hotel staff were super friendly. There is a free continental breakfast with waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereal, and a few other items.

Two minor complaints: The room smelled musty when first entering; An air freshener would do the trick! However, it wasn't noticeable after a few mins in the room. The other con was that we booked a first level room on Expedia and when we arrived we were put on the second floor because there were no first level rooms left; However, I think that was Expedia's fault! I would call to confirm before arriving.
