“Great little Pub!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2011 via mobile

Yakima's original Bob's is nothing like the newer one that the last two genius reviews left reviews for here by mistake. It has no TVs and is nothing like red robin.

It is a great little Pub with revolving taps of excellent beer and a very nice selection of wine. This is a place to go for a beer or glass of wine first and if you are hungry the nachoes and mini pizzas are great.

“Friendly and convenient.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2009

Friendly place for a salad or a burger. Only a few tables, but also seating at the bar. Limited menu but what they have is pretty good, for bar food.

“Nice Little Pub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2008

Just a small little pub in the historic district of Yakima. Not a lot of seats or a large menu. The service was great for just a small operation. The pizza and nachos was made to our taste, "just pick the toppings off the menu" Bob said to the table in an odd British accent??? My only complaint is it's hard to find a seat sometimes, on a few occations locals have shared their tables.

“A fantastic place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2008

A great tucked-away place!!! Fantastic wine and beer selections and Bob is a great guy. A unique, special little place. If I lived there, I'd definitely be a regular. It is comfortable and has great selections. Bob knows his selections and loves what he does.

“Make sure you talk with Bob”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2007

Bob's Keg and Cork is a tiny pub at 27 North Front Street
Yakima, WA 98901, [--]. My husband and I had found it referenced on another website and thought we would try going by there.

It is very small, only holds a max of 49 people and has a small pub charm. There are several different microbrews on tap along with a nice selection of Washington wines to choose from. There is a kitchen and although we didn't eat there we saw several people that were enjoying a meal with their drink.

The best part of our visit was talking with Bob. He is the owner of the bar and is there most of the time. We talked to him about the history of his pub and how sad it was that Burt Grant's place closed down. (Burt Grant opened the first brew pub in the US).

This is not a fancy place but if you are looking for a beer and a burger with a fascinating glimpse into Yakima history it is worth a stop. They evey have Chimay on tap!
