The addition of a new chef and a new decor moved this restaurant up a notch in my opinion. AIt's a very popular place for happy hour and the food is good too.
As Yakima locals, we eat at Zesta often - the comparison to Olive Garden is somewhat accurate - in terms of price and the availability of pastas, however that's where it ends. The food at Zesta is consistently fresh and the menu changes with the seasons. My favorite dessert is the summer "Peach" - a perfectly fresh peach with creme brulee. Great regional wine list and awesome happy hour, but also a fabulous spot for a business or ladies luncheon.
Early evening dinner with well mannered children is always a positive experience - they can color on the paper table cloths and play with pizza dough (or snack on it). The kids menu is a great value as well and all the mails include a drink and scoop of ice cream.
Recently took out of town guests to Zesta for Sunday brunch to rave reviews and clean plates all around - consistently good.

Great food! Had the peppered Beef tenderloin. Daughter had the spaghetti and meatball always a favorite with her. Fabulous drinks and a great way to end the week

service was OK, Our appetizer was average. Pasta was good but I could not point out anything special about it.
