“Who Would Have Thunk?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

While staying overnight in Sunnyside, my wife and I went for a walk and stumbled upon this big log building that looked like a mini-Cabela's. It was Snipes Mountain Brewery. We looked at the menu and stayed for dinner. We're sure glad we did. The food and beer were great. This place would be impressive and a money-maker in Seattle, but it's in the small town of Sunnyside - who would have thunk?

“Not Yakima..... Sunnyside! Unusually good and nice place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

Had lunch here on a work trip. The special was a lamb burger with awesome and real potato crinkle cut fries. It was most enjoyable. The service was great and the atmosphere in this out of the way place was just amazing. Sunnyside is a sleepy little farming community south of Yakima about 30 minutes. Don't miss getting off the freeway and partaking of the great food and yes, they have a brewery. I couldn't sample the beer but will definitely return at a more opportune time to try the micro! Really, you need to go! Way out of the way and out of place and sooooo worth it!

“A lot disappointing . . .”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

We asked around about where to find dinner near our hotel and Snipes was suggested. The decor is a typical microbrewery environment . . hard surface, loud noise. The wait staff was lacking and the food service deplorable. We had both finished a glass of wine before our food arrived and one order was not as requested. Instead of offering to "fix it" the waiter just said he would deduct a buck or two for the inconvenience. The lettuce in our salads was mostly the white stuff and everything else pretty darn average. Beers were okay but wines were strictly the grocery store stuff . . .in Yakima Valley . . .the wine country of Washington? Tsk tsk. Our experience was anything but memorable and we won't be back any time soon!

“Great meal after Sunnyside Lighted Parade”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2012

My wife and I ate here after the Sunnyside Lighted Parade on 12-1-12

Our total bill before tip was $81.57
This is what we had

1 hot tea - $2.25
2 glasses of wine - $6.00 each
1 artichoke dip - $11.95 it was a very large portion
1 top sirloin - very small portion but well worth it - $23.95
1 shrimp scampi - $18.95
2 salads - $3.25 each

Even though the place was packed we didn't wait too long for food.

Nice atmosphere for young and old.

Best place to eat in Sunnyside by far
