“Tots”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013 via mobile

Local hang-outs are always a dice roll, but this one came up a solid 10. We were anticipating a fairly standard drive-in burger joint, and were vastly surprised at not only the size of the place, but the near overwhelming array of foodstuffs to order.

I am pretty sure that this is the first time that I have had the opportunity to order tater tots, even in a burger joint. They were pretty standard, yet fun. The pumpkin pie milkshake was unbelievably good.

“When in Rome, do as the Romans - this was what McDonald's should have been”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

Yes, the food is a bit greasy, but this stuff is good!

Not usually on a tourist list of must-dos. this long-standing institution in Yakima is worth the side trip. Great lunch food for the entire family at a great price. The outdoor picnic area is a shaded place to relax and enjoy the kind of food we love even if we don't want to always admit it.

The cole slaw was the freshest crunchiest I've ever had - for real!

“Want a burger beyond compare”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2013

Here is a place that we come to several times a year for the simple reason the food is excellent, service is quick and prices are terrific. Food portions are large so you will not leave without taking care of any appetite you bring. If you are going through Yakima, its worth a stop.

“Way over priced”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013 via mobile

Decided to try this since everyone raved about it. Over $30 for two of us to have dinner. Granted the portions are huge but no warning before hand because I can only assume is greed by the owners. Wanted to charge me $4 to add a piece of ham. The hamburger was good. The fries and tator tots were ok. Sorry Yakima this place is not all that. In and out burger and five guys are better and way cheaper. I hope they come here to give this over priced fast food a run for your money!

“Quantity over quality”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

Servings are large, but that was about all we got excited about. My wife had a tasteless oriental salad with chicken that was just past warm. My burger was large, but have eaten much better elsewhere. I think this is one of those locations that gets a following and people love it or do not get it. I am in the latter category. If you have a hungry hoard to feed, this is worth stopping at. If you want something truly tasty, there are better options.
