The facility is beautiful, the wines good - but let's be honest, after a few tasting rooms it really becomes less about the wine and more about the experience.
I've had the pleasure of running into their winemaker Marty twice. It's like visiting an old friend - the time we spent chatting with him about his wine, his experiences in the wine industry and tasting his good were well worth the price of admission. WAIT! There is no admission (except for a nominal tasting fee - refunded with purchase) so the buying of a few bottles of wine seemed like we weren't doing enough to compensate him for his time - next time we'll be sure to have more trunk space!
