Food is authentic and delicious. Pricey but good. Atmosphere and portion sizes was suitable. A must try when in town...

The Thai Orchid has great food. During lunch they have a six part buffet that is excellent. You can also order off the menu. Prices are very good and the staff is very friend.

The location itself though is very seedy and the inside is rundown and maybe even a little scary looking. I would say it appears clean but it could really use a remodel (or a bulldozer).

Thai Orchid is not so much to look at, a little place with modest interior. But the food was well above par. I had the green curry (pork), my wife the phad thai (shrimp). Both were delicious, the curry was ordered medium and seemed just fine (didn't flame me like other "medium"s have done) and the phad thai was super- nice noodles and flavorful sause. Not the facniest place, but a nice meal for a reasonable price.

The lady ("Guim" like Kim but with a G) was born in Thailand and travels there a few times a year to get some of her ingredients. In Yakima this is the authentic THAI restaurant.
