“Local favorite”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2013

This is a restaurant we visit on a regular basis. We can always count on a good meal and the service is always great. One of the things I appreciate about Italianissimo is that they have a gluten free menu. If you have to deal with this issue, you will appreciate the variety of things you can order on their menu.

“Inconsistent”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

This place is clearly popular but our experience was uneven. For appetizers we ordered bruschetta and caprese. The bruschetta toast was far too thick and boarder line burned. The caprese was a little different than we're use to but was good.

For dinner one of us ordered the Caesar salad and it was over dressed. My wife and I ordered the osso buco and while the meat was tender the flavor wasn't fantastic. Another member of the party ordered pizza which was good. The tiramisu for dessert was good.

The service was friendly but at times a little clumsy and the coursed weren't spaced well.

“What a wonderful place to eat!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013 via mobile

We finally decided to try this restaurant. Had heard good things about it, so wanted to check it out. I am so glad we did! The food was great, good portions, good service and even in house made dessert! Although a little pricey, $120 for two with one glass of wine a piece, salad, entrée, and dessert. We will be back! Although next time we will share a meal.

“Fantastic food, a little pricey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

We have been here a few times and the food is fabulous. The menu selection is diverse with many options, the specials are always interesting and good. Waiters/waitresses are knowledgeable and friendly. They never rush you but are happy to accomodate if you need to go a bit quicker. The prices are a little higher so it is usually a place we go to for a special occasion and is worth it for a celebration. The portion sizes are very generous so there is always food to take home and enjoy the next day.

“A plesant surprise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

Why it only rates #4 or #5 in the area is a mystery to me. We were a party of four and each and every dish was exellent. The Dungeness crab ravioli; veal marsala, beef carpaccio, osso bucco, and salads were all amongst the best I've tasted. The service was first rate. I suppose the decor could have been a little more sumptuous, but really... If it's excellent cuisine you're after, this is the place!
