“Comfort and Affordably in the heart of the City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2010

My husband and I recently stayed at the new SpringHill Suites and throughly enjoyed ourselves. The hotel is NEW and super clean and the staff was as friendly as could be. Our room had a desk and free Wi Fi and a very comfortable sofa sleeper and a nice flat screen TV with a large channel selection. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were quiet (we even had a street-side room). We are Marriott members and also seniors, so our room rate of $118.00/nt was very reasonable. We would stay here again. The hotel is just across the street from Visconti's (great Italian restaurant) and just a couple of blocks from the Apple Capital loop trail (a paved riverfront trail of 12 miles). The breakfast in the morning was very nice with a large selection and the "manager's special" dinner, 3 nights a week was a real unexpected pleasure.

Thank you very for staying with us! I'm glad you and your husband had a good time. And you are spot on about the running trail!!! Wenatchee is a beautiful place to enjoy outdoor activities!

Staff was nice, room was great, cleanliness was good, and the staff opened up the breakfast bar early for our group which was great to have each morning of our business trip!

Location can be important. If you want to be near the Convention Center, this isn't the hotel for you. But if you don't, then this is a great choice. It is near the shopping area with the Red Robin, Albertson's, Rite Aid and JC Penny on the west end of Wenatchee Ave. There is an In & Out Burger next door.
The hotel opened very recently and is very modern. The rooms are all suites in that they have a sleeping area and a sitting/office area. The rooms are very nicely layed out with a moveable glass screen between the desk and the bed. One thing I liked was that the shower head was much higher than in most hotels. My husband is 6'3" and this is something we notice. This hotel includes a hot breakfast in the price. Also, the indoor pool and spa were nice.
I've stayed at the Coast in Wentachee several times because I've had to be at the Convention Center. I much prefered this hotel. It is not only a nicer room, it included a breakfast and was closer to shopping and restaurants.

This brand new location (opened 3/1/10) features the new SpringHill Suites design. It is a thorough, top-to-bottom re-design that scores 10 out of 10 in every category. Hats off to the design team, both for the innovative design and for clearly listening to your guests.

From the fresh new room layout, to the soft, calming pastels, to the innovative desk with sliding windows acting as a partial room divider, to the closet doors on the half & half bathrooms, to the L-shaped sofa with perfect pillows... this place is superb.

The desk staff is prompt and courteous, the breakfast server is warm and welcoming, the lobby is open and light - it all simply works great. Add in SpringHill Suite's free internet, free breakfast and free parking and there is simply no way to go wrong staying here.

The SpringHill Suites is brand new and I had the opportunity to stay there during their opening week in March 2010. I was stunned at how nice the facility was. I kept thinking "My Wife Would Love This" every time I noticed some new feature that the hotel had.

For instance, the bathroom door in my suite was a pocket door made out of frosted glass. Very classy looking. The only downside might be you couldn't close a solid door to block out the light if someone got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, but that's why the bathroom had a built-in nightlight. You didn't even have to turn on the light.

Overall the styling was much more modern than any hotel I've ever stayed in and I stay in various hotels monthly all across the state of WA (I have a pharmaceutical sales territory that spans from Yakima to Vancouver).

The hotel just seemed to have all the extras. Plenty of outlets for computers and accessories, and an iHome alarm clock that was iPod/iPhone compatible. Not only could i listen to my music, I didn't even have to bring a charger for my phone!

The hotel has the usual amenities, a pool/hot tub, weight room, etc. But each of them seem to have a little something extra that you don't see at other hotels. For instance, the pool had jets of water falling from the ceiling into the pool. I'm not sure what the point of that was, but it looked neat and kids would probably love it.

There's a free (but small) business area with new flat screen computers, an outside patio area they call the Flame Bar (with real gas flames to stand by and warm yourself).

The staff were all excellent and friendly (but a little green, it was after all their first week). There were a few kinks at check-in (my room hadn't been cleaned and wasn't ready to occupy), but I had to leave anyway for dinner so they cleaned it promptly while I was out. I found a small gift basket in my room when I returned as a "Thank You" for staying, and an "Apology" for the room not being ready. The apology was not necessary, but it was a nice touch just the same.

Possibly the only downside is the lack of a restaurant in the hotel. However, there is an excellent Italian restaurant just across the street (maybe 100 feet or so from the entrance to the hotel). Easily within walking distance for even the most lazy travelers. I didn't ask, but the Italian place may deliver for those who would prefer to dine-in.

I don't know what else to say other than give this hotel a chance. It's by far the nicest place to stay in Wenatchee!

Wow! How did such a great hotel find it's place in Wenatchee? It's retro, yet contemporary. They have fountains and fire. Circles and greens in the design. Very hip! It's a perfect match for wine tours, skiing, golf, or spending the afternoon in Leavenworth.
