3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

Nice exterior and lobby area. Easy and speedy check in. Decent size room, although layout was a bit odd. Our king room was big, the tv was centered in the room, but the bed was off center and it just looked and felt weird. The bathroom design is horrible, but was definitely usable. Beds were very firm and comfy, pillows were not. The room and hotel were clean overall. Breakfast was the usual fare and very busy. The pool and hot tub looked nice, although we did not use them. There were train tracks outside, but we never heard a train. We did hear a lot of children running in the hall and in and out of rooms near our room. Average value for the price paid.

My son, husband and I were evacuated in the Wenatchee fires. Comfort Inn welcomed us in Wednesday night when we had no place to go. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was exceptional. At a time when stress level could have been high I felt calm and relaxed thanks to the exceptional staff at Comfort Inn. They did all this without asking for a single dime. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH TO THE STAFF AT COMFORT INN IN WENATCHEE.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel on September 18, 2012. We were going to spend 3 nights and use this as our base for seeing sights in the area including the boat trip to Stehekin on Lake Chelan. The rate we received was very good. On our trip up to and our arrival in Wenachee we drove through smoke from several wildfires that was so thick that visibility at times was less than 1/4 mile. We had to stay in our room the entire afternoon and evening except to go out and eat. We heard conditions in Lake Chelan were pretty much the same and not expected to change. We decided we'd go back home the next day. I went to the front desk to let them know we wouldn't be staying the other 2 nights, and expected to hear that they would charge us for the rooms anyway. Well to my surprise the gal was really nice, said she understood and we weren't obligated to pay for the remaining reserved nights.
Now about the room which we got to know well since we were in it so long. It was clean, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. It was non-smoking and on the third floor and accessed by elevator. The lobby was very clean and the morning breakfast was good and the coffee great. We will definitely stay there again when we come back to see what we missed.

Dear Blue Beach 312,
Thank you for your review of your recent stay here with us. We completely understood your early departure due to the heavy smoke and very unhealthy air quality. I am pleased that you found your guest accommodations clean and comfortable. Our room attendant staff is very through in the job they do. Our guest service agents are very attentive the the needs of our guests. We have a very beautiful Valley and there is a lot to see and experience while you are here, please let us know when you are ready to plan your next visit to Wenatchee. Sincerely, Sara Baum

The only negative comment we have is the jets on the jacuzzi are out of order which was disappointing. The pool is clean and nice. The workout room is also clean. It's small but has a decent treadmill. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We liked having the sink outside the bathroom. The refrigerator was bigger than the usual hotel mini-frig. The complimentary chocolate chip cookies were a plus! Our friends recommended this hotel and we also checked TripAdvisor. This will be our go to hotel when we stay in Wenatchee.

Room Tip: Request a room on the opposite side of the road as you can hear the road noise.

We stayed here for one night a week ago, and have stayed here on two previous occasions. It is a dependably clean and comfortable hotel. Our double-queen room was very large, and had been recently redecorated. Very comfy beds, and everything spotlessly clean. The vanity/sink area are outside the bathroom. But I just don't understand why the bathroom itself has to be so small. When the room itself is so large, couldn't the designer have given a few more square feet to the bathroom? We are not large people, but still had to step back between the toilet and the wall, just to open the bathroom door...

The breakfast room here is one of the nicer ones we've seen. Usually plenty of room. They are advertising "full hot breakfasts," but there is really nothing beyond the usual motel breakfast except pre-heated omelets (which tasted surprisingly good!) and biscuits and gravy.

The outside of the building is starting to show some wear, and the jets in the hot tub weren't working. But as usual, the desk staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we travel through Wenatchee.

We stayed here on night on our way back to Canada. The hotel was decent and we we were happy with the price. Our room was at the end of the hall and the wi-fi connection was terrible, I had to go to the lobby to use the internet. Our room was large and clean, but as some noted the bathroom was very small. The breakfast room was large and bright, with usually choices of food.

I wanted to stay at the Comfort Suites just down the road from the Comfort Inn but, alas, there was no room at the proverbial inn so stayed here instead. The room was good-sized and clean, however the the accessibility of the bathroom was not optimal, to say the least. We had a quiet and rather uneventful stay. The pool was warm and the jacuzzi just a bit warmer than the pool, but both were comfortable. It appears breakfast was improved because the omelet-type eggs were very good, as were the sausage patties. Check in and check out were seamless. I just may stay here again.
