The Wenatchee Travellodge looks like a 1960s motel, although it has had some maintenance upgrading. It was the style with two stores and outside entries to each room, half on a 2nd floor.
The bed was decent. The room looked freshly painted. Our room had a modern AC/Heat unit and some other upgrades. The bathroom had an elongated toilet which I find much improved over the small ones. It had a small refrigerator and microwave, plus WI-Fi. The parking lot had a recent reseal done. The pool and hot tub looked clean but since it was locked at night I was not able to try the hot tub early in the morning when I wake up. There was also some bright lights on the hot tub. A man I saw soaking in the evening probably felt exposed sitting in bright light. Only two small towels were provided in our room and none extra at the pool.
One problem was that there isn't much wall between adjacent bathrooms. The shower next door was VERY loud in our room. I had to close our bathroom door to cut down on noise.
No fitness center was available, and they did not have an agreement with a fitness place located next door. The Travellodge did not have a restaurant, and did not have a back gate to allow guests easy access to a Subway located behind the motel. The "hot breakfast" was advertised on a sign as "biscuits and gravy" but we left early.
Reservations were handled without problems and our room was ready when we arrived. The price was less than $100 even with taxes, considerably less than the newer fancier hotels were quoting. We probably saved $60 compared to the newer place across the street.

Thank you so much for your review! You provided a detailed and accurate description of our rooms, amenities, and property. Our pool towels are with the staff at the desk, all anyone needs to do is ask. We do close the pool in the evenings, hopefully to avoid excessive noise while other guests are sleeping. This is an older property, but since I have worked here I have encountered many folks that remember it from a long time ago, nostalgia is comforting to some. I think we have a great staff and we have made upgrades to the rooms and the office, everybody is working hard. Some things we are not able to change, and we do apologize about the noise issue. We do hope to see you again, maybe with more improvements! Thanks for the great feedback.
