“Reasonable!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2010

Had a free night reward and after reviewing the several motels available on this site, went with Ramada. It was a good choice! The gal at the front desk was helpful and friendly. The room was clean--nothing fancy, but nice. Dog friendly & good internet service. It was too cold for the outside pool. Convenient location to the mall and other great stores.

A spacious room with two queen size beds easily accomadated an adult and two grade school aged kids. Clean and comfortable, the addition of an outdoor pool to jump in on a warm summer day scored this hotel lots of points from our family. The convenience of the breakfast buffet and a location near other family we were visiting, all at a very affordable price sealed the deal. We will be back.

YUCK! The staff here was not very nice when we stayed. The pool was dirty and disgusting. The breakfast area smelled like pee. The business center was average. The rooms were dark, dirty, scary and smelly. They put us in one of there back buildings and they had full time people staying there when we were there. We stayed here right before they sold to Ramada. It was a Comfort then. DO NOT STAY HERE!

I booked 2 kitchen suites .one was a one bedroom the other was a 2 bedroom. we also had 3 standard rooms booked. we were not told at the time i made the reservations that the kitchen units did not come equiped with any thing. there was a fridge ,a stove, and a dishwasher. no utensils eating or cooking of any kind! If i had knowen that there was nothing in them I would have just reserved standard rooms. It is a old hotel and you can tell when you see the rooms. Lana Skaugstad.... [--]

Booked two nights through Hotwire at $66/night- average for 2.5 stars. Was not sure what I would find once checked in due to the other review but was pleasantly surprised. The room was of a good size, had two Queen beds, fridge and microwave. The pool is outdoor and not operational at this time of year but the jacuzzi was up and running and was a wonderful treat after a day's drive. The jacuzzi/sauna area was clean and well stocked with towels. The place is in average condition but is much better run than the Ramada Inn & Suites on the north side of the city. Housekeeping in particular was much better in this location. The pool is better at the Newport Hwy Ramada. The breakfast was fine with the standard fare- biscuits & gravy, oatmeal, cereal, bagels, danishes, fruit, 3 or 4 kinds of juice, oranges, apples, yogurt, fresh waffles and hard boiled eggs. The beds were excellent and the place is quiet despite its location on a busy street. Great location- close to I-90, shopping and lots of restaurants within walking or driving distance. Approx. 10 minutes to the city center. Good value for the price.

The furniture was broken, the rooms were very worn and the internet took forever to connect. The front desk clerk actually told me I should walk down to the front desk with my laptop to get the connection, and walk back to my room. How convenient is that? Oh course, while hopefully not losing the connection on the way back to my room. What a joke. I talked to the General Manager as we were leaving the hotel and it was only his second day. He said that they were getting new furniture soon. I wish him the best of luck in getting that hotel up to Comfort’s normal standards. I guess you get what you pay for.
