“Feels Like Home!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

We just recently stayed here for three nights. We picked this place because of the rave reviews and they were all spot on! The hosts have managed to turn their home in to a very cozy retreat off the beat and path without feeling like you’re actually IN a bed and breakfast, but rather staying at friends house for the weekend. They even set up a fire pit for us down by the river, so we could grill some steaks in the snow! A highlight to our trip for sure. We are already planning our next trip there hopefully in the Summer and hope to make it a tradition in the snow! I HIGHLY recommend the Twisp River Inn, you won't be disappointed!

We stayed here for one night while driving the Cascade Loop in October 2011.

This is a charming home located on the Twisp River, a few miles outside of Twisp (please note: GPS and cell phones don't work here). The hosts are wonderful, and the breakfast served was all-natural, homemade, and tasted delicious. The B&B is well-maintained and clean.

Another great thing about the Twisp River Inn is that they accept dogs, which for some reason seems to be rare in this part of WA State. Also, there are beautiful walking trails that go along the river.

The only downside to our stay was the mattress, which we found was quite hard and did not make for a great night's sleep. If it wasn't for that, we would have rated the Twis River Inn with five stars.

Twisp River Inn is a great B&B. We felt like we were at home visiting with friends. Great hosts that were very charming!!! It was great to be able to hang with their animals. Breakfast was a great organic meal!

I wanted my family, who flew in from Holland, to experience a trip over the mountains (Eastern Washington) and to feel the hospitality of the country side. We found TWISP RIVER INN, managed by a lovely couple who once lived in New York and one day packed their bags and, headed West to follow their dreams. Twisp River Inn is your home away from home. Always time for a chat, great information and when Denise starts cooking ....................time stands still.

Room Tip: Tell them what you what you need and want and they will do their utmost best to accommodate you.

This was our first experience with a B&B and weren't sure what to expect. Denise and Leverett were wonderful! It was like visiting old friends, if we were in the mood for company and chatting they were right there and ready, and if we wanted alone time, then it seemed as if we had the house to ourselves. Leverett gave us terrific advice for the best places to see and how to get there, and Denise's breakfasts were delicious and hearty (not to mention made with organic and either homegrown or locally grown products!) We would love to go back in the winter.

I stayed at Twisp River Inn over New Years with another couple and had an amazing time. We loved the snowy setting, delicious breakfasts, hosts, animals, company, games, fireplace, music...all of it! I high recommend the Inn to anyone looking for a semi-remote retreat who enjoys the outdoors and relaxing. It's a great place whether you're looking for a ski/ice climbing weekend or whether you just want to sit on the couch and read a book. The bedrooms were great - quiet, clean and cozy. The location is far enough out of town to make you feel like you're really away from 'civilization' but close enough if you want to go into town for a meal or shop.
