“Bad Service Bad Steak”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2012

DON"T GO...only if you want a crappy dinner. My husband and I were ignored for the first 20 minutes, and then had a tough steak. The manager did give us our dinner on the house because we were so dissappointed, but it was just all around sad...it was also FREEZING in there.

The chain has a good reputation and this store exceeds those, The Blooming Oinion is great.

“Struck out twice in a row no need for the third one”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2011

Used to be our favorite to go out for a steak dinner. Can't seem to get the steak cooked properly either rare-blue or well done. How hard is pink in the middle and i can go with slightly rare. Sending back and getting new steaks really puts a damper on the whole evening. Manager was super nice and comped my meal both times however we will have to find somewhere else for date night in Tacoma, not looking for free food just a great steak.....

“Abysmal Steak, Spotty Service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2011

We have dinner twice a year with two couples who are delightful company. Usually we have such a good time that the quality of the food isn't a huge issue. Not this time. I ordered the Porterhouse, the most expensive steak on the menu. Although cooked to order, the meat was tough, a huge vein ran through one side, and a portion of what seemed to be a filet was so tough it could not be cut. In short, the worst steak I have tasted in ten years. (The Caesar salad and sides were fine, and dessert was great.) The other issue was the service. We were ten minutes late, and the other couples had not yet been served their drinks. The salads were served so late that the main entrees followed within two minutes. Famine before the feast. I would not choose this restaurant again. A steakhouse should have at least decent cuts of meat.

“They do not have a mandatory tip policy, even for parties.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2011

Some of their entrees are very good, but not impressed with the steaks. To much seasoning, and I do not believe steaks should ever be cooked on a flattop grille. Cooking on an open flame broiler is the only way meat should ever be cooked, whenever possible. Espescially at a steakhouse.
