“Interesting historical spot”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2012

This is a good historical walk-through. As little or as much time as you want. Authentic structures have been preserved. Enjoyable for history and antiquity buffs.

“Entertaining and Informative!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2012

This is a great place to spend a few hours. A very inexpensive walk back into history, where re-enactors show you what living in the 1850's was really like. An added bonus was that so many of the volunteers had family connections with the history they are "living out" for our enjoyment. It is located inside Pt Defiance Park, which has a number of other attractions to keep you busy for the whole day.

“A step back into the fur trade era”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2012

Nice little living history museum. The staff are friendly and informative. If you can, go on a weekend when there is some sort of event. We went on Queen Victoria's birthday, so there was music and games, as well as folks doing period crafts.

“Interesting and fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2012

I like to take my family here when they have a "living exhibit" going on. You get to see people dressed in period clothing, doing chores, playing, etc.
