“Older establishment good service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2014

We found the rooms to be clean and the service we received was great. We had made several room reservations and had some cancellations along the way. When we arrived we found that the 2 rooms we reserved were mistakenly cancelled along with the others. Because of the state wrestling tournament the motel was booked but the management somehow found us rooms. We were very happy with our stay.

Room Tip: The price was great, we were only there to sleep and shower. Would recommend this establishment.

This place is gross. The service is horrible. Motel 6 is luxury compared to this junky "hotel". I'd rather sleep in my car. There was peeling paint, wallpaper, stains on the carpet, holes in the walls, etc. The air conditioner was insanely loud. I was surprised that there was an iron and ironing board. My recommendation would be to go somewhere else.

Older hotel, 80's attire, restaurant next door out of business.
4 person stay. Stayed one night. Two beds with a couch hide a bed on third floor.
The room fit all 4 people with enough room almost.
3 story with elevator at far end, interior halls and entry doors. 3 stories up and down stairs for the stay.
The room fit all 4 people with enough room almost. Fridge & Microwave, okay.
Bathroom toilet had old water from what looked like from a month or two ago. Had to wipe inside of toilet to remove old moldy black/ brown water surface growth/stain. Fan just recycled the air, no exhaust, out of date fixtures and towel bars etc. Really needs attention.
Room seemed clean enough for what you pay but obviously wasn't occupied for a long while and re-inspected before entry.
Flat screen tv would cast a really bad red shadow on all images for 5-10 minutes at a time and then go away, needed replacing.
Breakfast was about a 2.5 rating. Had hot eggs and sausage patties, toast bread, coffee, orange/apple juice and condiments. You could get a fill and not leave hungry.
Bathroom is available upon arrival and in decent shape for arriving guests.
Free cookies on lobby counter were really good.
People friendly enough, young and a little inexperienced.
Just kinda weird feeling there. Cheap for the night.
Would recommend searching for newer hotel at other end of Fife.

Room Tip: Don't know of one.

Stayed for two nights with large group that were touring local attractions. Good value for the money, as they gave us a good rate. Rooms were clean, although dated. Several improvements made by new mgmt. and more to come. Great location, quick access to Major Tacoma amenities. Large property, lots of parking. Quiet area, sound sleep. Will check again on our next trip south to see how improvements are coming along. Pool & restaurant on site, with renos being done to restaurant. We have stayed in much worse for more money.

Room Tip: Quiet room overlooking pool.

Only available room I could find. Dingy from the outside, even worse inside. Hallways reeked of smoke even with windows open and fans blowing to circulate air through the building. Once in my room, the curtains smelled of heavy smoke and the window was so dirty it looked almost like it was frosted for privacy. The shower curtain reeked of urine, the tub drain was clogged, towels were so stiff from bleach I looked like I got in a fight with a cat after drying off. Bed sheets were stained, had holes, hair, and evidence of bedbugs. Pillows smelled like butt. I opted to not stay and drive through the night. I only gave it a single star because I had to to post this experience.

Room Tip: go elsewhere

This hotel had many amenities; iron, ironing board, refrigerator, microwave, TV & WiFi. The room was in good condition and the bed comfortable. The location is poor without much in the way of restaurants around. The closest food seemed to be the Jack In The Box about 1/2 mile east on Pacific. Check-in staff were indifferent and I noticed they remotely unlock the front door to let customers in so it may not be a very safe neighborhood. The big attraction must be the low price. They had an outdoor swimming pool with water in it, but said it wasn't open.

Room Tip: I was in the main building. Apparently it gets rougher out back.

If you want to score drugs or meet up with hookers stay here, dirty, rundown, its basically a dive. I was afraid to sleep. Rooms are 50.00 a night that's the only plus. The main building is cleaner then back building. Air conditioning does not work,if you do your laundry do not leave it unattended! !! If you are a smoker or a truck driver they put you in the back building, this is where the magic happens. Hookers and pimps. Get room down road they are same price and clean. Also all motels on road have truck parking
