“A Jewel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2011

This hotel was wonderful. The staff knew previous guest by name and those guest referred to it as their home away from home. They have a real nice hot tub and the rooms were very clean. The continental hot breakfast was very good. We stayed here because of the trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed.

This is a very low cost, low quality hotel built among the cow pastures of Eastern Washington. The staff was very plesant. The room was clean. The air conditioner did not work but our expecations were low and we did not complain. The Best Western across the street looked much nicer - but this hotel was OK considering where we were.

My wife and I, my daughter and 4 children stayed in 2 rooms. The rooms were plain, but very clean. the kids had a great time in the pool and the sauna was just right. Very clean and well maintained. Check-in was pleasant and quick.
The breakfast was tasty with a good variety of choices. Again the meal room was very clean and a pleasant atmosphere. The maids were eating breakfast along with us. Kudos to the owners for the employee benefit. the morning manager was hustling around keeping everything filled and she was very friendly with everyone. The Christian atmsphere was much appreciated. We will be back.

The room had dust all over. It looked like the room was not cleaned in a while. Ghost Town.

The room and hotel is clean, the front desk personnel are friendly and the indoor pool is nice. The room was pretty big for a single and the bathroom was large. The one star rating belies the amenities that this motel offers, once inside it appears like the big chain hotels in size and appointment. And the motel, while around 50% booked, was still pretty quiet.

Yes the pool and excercise room are small, but the fax, copy machines and the continental breakfast offering make this motel bigger than most.

The only downside is no elevator (I just had a carry on, so if you have more luggage ask for the first floor when you make your reservation).

When ever we go to Sunnyside to visit relatives we always stay at the Rodeway Inn. The rooms are always clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast has a lot of verity. It is in a very good location just off the freeway. There is a movie theater in walking distance if you want something to do at night. If you get hungry you can walk to burger king or AM PM mini market. The best thing for us is they are pet friendly. I would recommend this to anyone.

I searched and searched but could not find any on-line reviews about this motel. We decided to take a chance anyway, and were quite pleased with our decision. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful about giving directions, as well as suggestions about places to eat.

We had a daily newspaper delivered to our room each morning and enjoyed the moderate continental breakfast (bagels, waffles, juice, coffee, cereal).

When traveling in a rental car in an unfamiliar area, safety is a primary concern for me and this motel was located in a nice, quiet area, yet it was convenient to the town and surrounding areas. My husband likes to run, even on vacation, and found the neighborhood quiet pleasant for his exercise.

My only negative remarks would be that it was a bit more high priced than I would have expected for a rural area, although prices were comparable to other motels in the same town. Also, the hot tub was not working, much to my husband's disappointment.

Our stay was relaxing, peaceful and quiet. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this establishment.

  • Liked — The rooms were large, clean and comfortable.
  • Disliked — The hot tub was out of service!
  • Tips/Secrets — I don't think there is an elevator, so you will have to haul luggage up a stairway.
