“I love this place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2010

Great food, a little smalll, but the atmosphere is good. Their pop-overs before (and during) dinner are to-die-for. I haven't been here in maybe a year and I can still taste them with the flavored butter. Yum. They do a nice job and the food is always good.

“Three referrals - we're there. . . .”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2009

We were tooling around Spokane on a Thursday afternoon when we decided it was time to look for a restaurant for dinner. We were at the Davenport Hotel and asked the young bartender if he could make a referral for dinner. He listened to our request - intimate, good food, memory making, warm etc. - and he said two words, "Wild Sage." We thought we would check it out, so we started walking and on the way out, asked someone the same question. Her response was the same. We continued walking - not seeing the location yet - stopped into a store and asked if they knew where the restaurant was. YES, YES, YES - it is down the street and across the parking lot - DON'T PASS GO!!
Well, let me tell you - the place couldn't be better (located on a table sits a good number of awards won.. . . ) My sister was on a special diet and they created a meal just for her special dietary needs that was wonderful! My husband had stuffed chicken that was "melt in your mouth" delicious. I had the halibut that was moist and paired with a warm potato salad with a dressing that was like a "party in my mouth." My brother in law ate the pork chops - he barely came up for air! Ha Ha
Recommended was one of the non-alcoholic drinks - we chose the mojito and it was refreshing and hit the spot. The Greek salad was inventive in the preparation with no remnants left on the plate. Pop overs - also good with a tasty flavored butter to spread.
No room for dessert. . . too bad. . . the choices looked great.
All four of us left full and happy. The ambiance seemed to improve as the sun went down, the lights were dimmed and we headed home not the least disappointed!

“Great place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2009

We had dinner after finding out the restaurant had a gluten-free menu. The food was wonderful; both my husband and I enjoyed our meals. The drink menu was fun, and our server explained they are a "scratch bar". They had a nice selection of wines also. People of all ages were there on a Sunday night, including children. The service was great without being intrusive. Will definitely go back.

“Our favorite Spokane restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2009

We dine at Wild Sage every time we are in Spokane. The food is excellent and innovative, with menus planned around local availability. Try the Breaking Bread starter. There is a full bar with a creative cocktail menu. Our favorite is the eponymous Wild Sage cocktail. The wait staff are knowledgable and attentive. The ambiance is cozy and relaxing. All in all, a wonderful dining experience.
