I stayed here twice in 2007, and will stay again when traveling without my kids. This place is an absolute bargain. The downtown location is very convenient, maybe not the best but at this price? There was plenty of parking right outside our room. The slightly firm
beds are very comfortable with great pillows and linens. The room is clean and has all of the basics, but no refrigerator. On both visits I rarely heard a peep from adjacent rooms. The shower was hot & had more pressure than just about anywhere I've stayed. The fan in our bathroom didn't work, but it wasn't really a problem. The only downside to this place is the slightly indifferent attitude at the front desk (only when checking out) - no big deal though. I rate this motel as one of the best values available in Spokane, which typically has high prices for only average accommodations.

“One night for Bloomsday Run”

This hotel is not fancy or new, but for our stay the night before the huge Bloomsday Run, it was perfectly fine. The neighborhood is not great, but it's okay and close to the more decent downtown. We parked our car when we got there and didn't move it again until we left, which was great. The front desk staff were very nice and accomodating- it was a pleasure talking to them. We had no problems at all during our stay.

This is an older motel that is being upgraded but it's a very good deal for the money. We paid $51 per night including all charges for two people, king bed, microwave, frig, free wireless Internet, free parking, and free Continental breakfast. It's only a couple of blocks from the main east-west freeway through Spokane on the east end of downtown. There were a couple of glitches as usual. The door lock with magnetic card was hard to open from the outside and the shower drain was partly clogged. However you could tell they were trying to maintain the place well. The shower head and toilet seat were brand new for instance and they did note problems when I notified them at the front desk upon checkout. It's in downtown Spokane which is always a bit iffy at night with some homeless people wandering about.

“Great Bang For The Buck!”

I was very satisfied with this hotel, the rates were great for what they offer. We enjoyed their Continental Breakfast, they have a very nice pool. The rooms were clean and comfy. I don't know what other people who wrote their reviews expect from a economy hotel.
We will definitely go back and stay at the Econo Lodge in Spokane,WA.

“Worst customer service”

Days Inn City Center

If there was anything lower than one star that's what I would rate this hotel.
On the first morning, there were ants in the bathroom. When we got back to hotel the second night, the parking lot was full. Went to the office, was told it wasn't their fault, we could park on the street. It's a very busy street, so we did not want to park there and more to the point there should be parking available for each room. They advertise that parking is available for trucks, so that makes it sound like there is plenty of parking. Plus when we checked in, they said that there was plenty of parking for everyone.
There were two trucks with trailers taking up 4 parking spots and one huge bus taking 9 parking spots. They wouldn't make the bus move to the street. Even though office personnal said that the bus should be on the street. There were around 5 cars that were double parked or blocking driveway. Upon check in, they don't request your license plate number so we didn't want to double park or block anyone because we were afraid of getting towed.
We were then told to leave, no apology, just rudeness. Like it's our fault there was no parking. We had to pack up at 1:30am to leave. After a long day of fun at the convention we attended, the last thing we expected was a 6 hour drive home at 1:30am.
We do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
