“A Classy Breakfast Diner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

The food was very good, exactly what I hope for when I visit a diner like this. The antique rail car atmosphere made it even more special. It was also super clean even the bathrooms which is often not the case when visiting diners. I was impressed all around.

“Great breakfast place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

Best Pancakes ever, and the coffee is great too. Be prepared to wait at least a half hour or call in when you plan on dining.

“Best Breakfast in Spokane”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

When I am hungry for a great breakfast with lots of atmosphere I go to Franks Diner and sit at the counter and watch with amazement the cooks prepare the meals and magically with a group have all meals come out hot and wonderful. It is in a converted railroad car which adds to the intimate connection with all in the diner. My favorites are the Eggs Benedict with gravy and onions as well as a BLT with a fried egg added..

“Huge, delicious portions & friendly service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

We both ordered breakfast for lunch. Large menu for a diner, with a few unexpected things (like my yummy fried green tomato scramble). Our waitress was unbelievably friendly. The diner itself is in an adorable little train car, and the history (which you can read at the table) makes the experience all the more fun. Side note- we are both vegetarians, and had no trouble finding something to eat. We didn't look at the lunch/dinner options though.

“Delicious home-style food, and the traincar was super cool”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2014

We found Frank's Diner on Roadfood, and were determined to travel there on our cross-country journal to get to our 49th state. It did not disappoint. Both breakfast and lunch meals were available, and we got the soup and salad, pancakes, and a sandwich at our table. Great food, and really kind people. My daughter left her sweatshirt in the bathroom and we didn't realize it until we were about 45 minutes down the road. We called and doubled-back, and they had put it in the back for us so no one would take it. If you are in Spokane don't miss it.
