I don't get it - I really don't - I've tried this place three times and each time I walk away very underwhelmed. Maybe it's the novelty of the train car (NOTE: These type of restaurants were all over the place where I grew up so it's really not that big a deal to me and maybe that's why I just don't get it.) I judge a restaurant by its food, creativity, service, cleanliness and value.
Food is average for a breakfast place and if you are into gravy they will smother everything in it if you like. Hash browns are greasy and sometimes not cooked on one side.
Creativity Slightly above most diners but still nothing to write home about.
Service - usually good
Cleanliness - just average, tables and condiments can be sticky from previous cumstomers spills and hands. Menus need wiping off.
Value - poor, greasy spoons are known for the value, this place charges a premium for greasy spoon food.
Reason to go - to sit in a train car and eat expensive diner food.
Reason not to go - there are better breakfast places offering much better value in town.
