“Fun place to eat!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2007

At Frank's Diner, you get great food, and a very unique atmosphere! Definitely go here if you are looking for something different without compromising quality or service.

It is a very welcome alternative to fast-food or chain restaurants.

Great food-especially for a hangover! ;) Eating in a train car is cool, but it's a little cramped and the wait can be long if you go at the wrong time.

“Great Servers, Very Good Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2007

We ate lunch here today. The service/servers is the difference at this restaurant. We tipped bigger here because the server was so friendly and warm. The atmosphere is unique, this is a restored early 1900's dining car. If you have eaten at Andie's Diner in Seattle, this is a similar set up. Food is also very good. I had the club sandwich, and it was good and not too big like most of these sandwiches tend to be. Try the Huckleberry milkshake, it is hand made and you will not be disappointed.

“1906 Railway Car Seattle's Loss, Spokane's Gain, Voted Top Breakfast Spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2007

The setting is perfect, especially if you have kids. The railcar came to Spokane when the Seattle location lost it's lease. Portions are huge, service is friendly and attentive. An old time breakfast spot....not cheap but if u want cheap go to McDonalds. They have huckleberry milkshakes...maybe I should go back for lunch? They do have a website.
