I tried their lunch first. Sat out on the beautiful patio. Good service. Make all their own pasta, bread, desserts in their bakery out back. Grown own herbs and some veggies. But locally source nearly everything else and you can tell they take great care. Came back for brunch with my husband. When we walked out we changed our anniversary dinner reservations from another restaurant to Clover. We are hooked. We've been back for more lunches and dinners. Atmosphere is wonderful in a converted house in the University District. One of the co-owners I understand wrote a cocktail bible for all the classic drinks, so they always have some new and interesting concoctions. My brother and his girlfriend from LA, world travelers, love this place and always want to go when they visit.
