“Clean comfortable rooms & great service but grounds need updating”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013 via mobile

The rooms were nice, and the beds were super comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The grounds/lot need updating. The fitness room had new equipment but lacked weights. Great location though! Opened onto the river and convenient walk to Gonzaga.

This hotel sits right next to the river walk and is in a great location. Free parking and very attentive staff. Rooms are basic, clean, have refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Hotel is older but clean and a great deal for location and rates. The restaurant bar had a great jazz band playing in it on the Wed I was there. Food was good, reasonably priced and service was great. Got a great deal on Priceline!

I thought this hotel was gorgeous on the outside, and the inside, but since I came in a large group for FBLA state conference, I was not impressed that our rooms were not ready until noon when we arrived at 9:30. Also they only had one public restroom which had a false mirror that was confusing for us girls getting ready. And the layout was very odd. But I enjoyed the maintenance man who found me a fork to eat my leftovers with, and I enjoyed the air conditioners. Hotel was over warm but vending machines nearby at all times was cool. Staff needs to know more because they had no clue about the shuttles and It came off as they didn't care. Thanks for the stay.

I was glad to hear that you enjoyed many parts of our hotel! We love to accomadate early arrivals but sometimes its just not possible depending on the amount of departures we have that day. I was glad to see that you were able to get in before check-in time which is normally guaranteed by 3pm. I did forward your concerns regarding the shuttle service to the appropriate Manager and would like to thank you for your comments and concerns.

I stayed only 1 night so my review is limited. The location is excellent, right in the river. My room had 2 queen beds - LARGE room with small refrigerator, coffee maker (small) and a microwave. Furnishings were a little dated but the room was clean. I was happy with the room and hotel but feel it is overpriced. You should ask for AAA, military or other discounts as these may be available to you.

We stayed for two nights with our daughter and dog. The room was very clean. There was a patio that backed out on to the tennis court. Close access to the path by the river. Very close to downtown via the river walk. The staff was very nice and helpful. The grounds are well kept. Can't really think of a downside.

We were there on April 12 - 14/13 for my birthday. I booked on line so got a reduced rate, still expensive for what we got. It was a corner room, so the view was great but we were on the bottom floor and were booked in with a lot of young kids there for a tournament. They ran up and down the halls, including the stairs to the top floor. We called about the noise not only in the hall and stairwell but the room above us also made a lot of thumping noise as if they were wrestling or jumping off of the bed. We called the front desk at 9 pm, and 10:30, nothing happened. We were woken up at 2 am and again at 5 am. The front desk was wonderful, they tried to stop the noise but I don't believe these parents really cared about the other guests as they were to busy drinking in the rooms, kids were entertaining themselves and not bothering the parents. I do have to say that we were moved to a second story room, which was very quiet and much cleaner than the first room. They do have a wonderful shuttle service which took us to a restaurant downtown and picked us up again. The staff is great, the rooms are over priced.

A bit mixed on this Inn. We were only there for one night in transit to Seattle. In my opinion pricey for what is offered. Great location to the park, downtown, and to the interstate. Would probbaly shop a little more for better value if visiting Spokane again.
