When my husband and I got into our room we were very impressed and thrilled that we had found such a good deal. The room was on the top floor of the tower and was modern, renovated, and appeared clean. Until we started to settle in. I went into the bathroom to give my son a bath and quickly saw that the toilet had not been cleaned. There was a hair and dirt on the back of the toilet just behind the lid. Down the side of the toilet were streaks, dust, and something black and flaky stuck to it. And the inside of the bowl had brown stains. There was mildew in the grout in the shower and hairs in the bathtub. I called the front desk and they dispatched someone from housekeeping. Someone came in about 15 minutes and was very apologetic. They didn't hesitate to clean the toilet but did admit that there were some spots they couldn't get to come off.

The refrigerator was dated but kept bottled water at a cool temperature. The bed was very comfortable, clean, and the pillowers were nice.

Besides the bathroom, the rest of the room was fine. Howerver, I was so disgusted that I had a hard time relaxing afterward and didn't enjoy my stay very much.

We didn't even stay the night. The service was horrible at the front desk. The pool was so crowded that people were lying in front of our sliding door so that we couldn't get out of it. The worst....The garbage was still in the room from the previous people and the bathroom...well I won't gross you out with details. We tried to call to get service and they gave a wishy washy ..'we will send someone to look at it" excuse and no one ever came. The crib we requested was not available. So we took the trash can to the front desk and said we are leaving and don't charge our credit card!
That is about the only thing they got right.
We come from out of state every year to watch the fireworks on the river and thought we would try it for the kids because of the pool. Its absolutely wasn't worth it.

Stayed here three nights for a conference. The bed was good and we did sleep well. We were in the older section of the hotel, probably because of the conference rate and we overlooked the parking lot and the room was VERY small as was the bathroom. Room was newly redecorated though and Bath and Body Works lotions and soap in the bathroom. Refrigerator, no microwave. Nice pool. Parking is limited. The elevator in our section did not mark the lobby on the buttons and the lobby is on the 2nd floor. The service desk gave me driving directions twice and they were wrong both times. The town is torn up, the are redoing streets.

  • Liked — Bed, free internet, close to downtown, walking distance

This was my second stay at this property. Both times on business for a conference. Checked in early at 11:30 am and to my delight my room was ready. Front desk seemed annoyed that we had arrived at all. I was given a room on the 5th floor of the executive tower. Wow...it's a hike from the front desk, but well worth it. Room was larger than most, very comfortable pillow top mattress, balcony with glass slider that overlooked the outdoor pool and the river. This would be a great room in the summer or late spring. It was too cold to sit on the balcony during my stay. The room had a good size tv, work station and lounging chair as well, as a bar area with fridge. The Room was at the end of the hallway and very quiet. I was not interupted at all at night due to outside noise. Those were all bonuses of the executive room. Now, the bathroom is grossely undersized. Small tub, good shower head, but no room at all between the toilet, tub and sink area. Not a huge issue for me, but if that is big on your "must have list" I'm pretty sure the entire property is the same unless you are in a suite.

I did not order room service or use the pool, although the indoor pool seemed well occupied by kids and famiies (outdoor pool not open yet).

Checked out at 10:30 and again felt like the front desk was too busy to even say "thank you for staying with us".

I stay here because that is where the conference is at. But if I'm basing it off of customer service, I might look elsewhere. Love the bed, hate the bathroom and the attitude of the front desk.

I give it 3 stars out of 5. They can do better, but there are much worse properties to stay at. So...average it is for this trip.

We were really impressed when we stepped into the lobby of this hotel. It was awesome. The service was good and the front desk upgraded our room to give us a great view of the city, river, and park. We had a great stay and access to the riverfront park was easy. The pools had my son hooked he loved them. He had fun on the slide. We had a great lunch over at Cyrus O'Leary's in the downtown area. We could not get over the view we had , it was so relaxing and the sunset one night was fantastic. I would stay here again and again.

  • Liked — The views from our room
