This is THE place to stay in downtown Spokane. For a King room with parking $80. The room was super clean the Maids do a wonderful job and the bed was very comfortable. From check in to check out the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The General Manager does a GREAT job keeping this place running smooth. The bar tender at the Starlight Lounge knew her drinks and made sure my wife and I had a nice pre funk, with some new friends we met at the hotel, before heading out to the Knitting Factory (that is literally across the street). Talk about location, if you plan on a Knitting Factory concert and are looking for a nice, modern, clean and safe hotel, look no further than The Hotel Ruby! They offer room/concert package getaways so check their site before you buy your tickets from the Knitting Factory. The Ruby just might have a deal waiting for you. I can't wait to stay at the Ruby again. Thank you for making our trip to see The Reverend Horton Heat a memorable one.

Location is as important for a hotel as for a home. In Spokane, the little Ruby hotel is owned by Mr. Dickey and his wife who have just purchased the Bing (an historical landmark theater) who are doing major reconstrution there. The Ruby is a skip and a hop across the street to the Davenport Hotel which is delighted to share it's glorious lobby as Spokane's Livingroom. I've cozied up with a book or journal in the lobby in one of its huge sofas. The Ruby offers parking, senior rate, and a fun little bar with savvy young bartenders. It's clean. Lots of original paintings inside and out. I love\being greeted at night by the sparkles in their sidewalk up to the little reception area.

I won't rave on and on. This is my secret hideaway, very affordable, safe and quiet. Shusshhh.don't tell anyone I told you.

The room we stayed in was clean and the decor was very modern and artsy. It was a pleasant surprise. The staff was very friendly and helpful, our car battery died one morning and the staff immediately jumped in to help. Another great thing about this hotel was the completely free breakfast every morning with a good selection and Thomas Hammer coffee. The location is perfect as it is only blocks away from the mall and theatres and several of the top rated restaurants in Spokane. We will definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay @ Hotel Ruby. We were greeted with a warm welcome, put into a very clean and comfortable room that was close to downtown Spokane and the nightlife it has. We will definitely stay there again.
