This place was billed as the "Quality Inn of 2008" or some such award for excellence. It was an OK place, but I'd think there are better places to stay in Spokane.
The staff was friendly and competent, and building is newer, clean, well-maintained, and the Wi-fi worked well, but, although rather spacious, our king-bed room was awkwardly laid out. There was only one night stand and barely enough room to place an inverted wastebasket as an improvised nightstand between the other side of the bed and the wall. The TV faced a small love seat, but was at a 90 degree angle to the bed, making viewing from bed awkward. The biggest "glitch" however, was the placement of the desk / computer table next to the Air Conditioning unit. It's tough to concentrate with an icy draft blowing up your left sleeve!
Plumbing noise from early risers' showers woke us at about 6:00 a.m.
The complimentary breakfast featured a daily special offering that combined eggs, a bit of sausage, hash browns, mushrooms, and I'm not sure what else, in one casserole-like dish. If this didn't suit you, it was dry cereal, pastry and juice.
Price for the night was $104.52 including taxes. OK, but I suspect there are better deals to be had in Spokane.
