We checked in Saturday afternoon April 28 and discovered Sunday morning that bath towels had not been provided, even though the front desk had said at check-in that the room was "ready."

We called the front desk Sunday morning, but were told no one would bring towels to the room. My wife got dressed and went off to retrieve the towels.

We then found that the plastic bracket holding the portable shower head at the top of the shower stall was broken, meaning we had to hold the shower head in one hand and wash with the other.

I reported that problem to the front desk and asked that it be repaired. It was not. And although many rooms were vacated Sunday, we were not offered an alternate. So we had the same problem Monday morning.

The facial-tissue dispenser remained empty during our two-night stay. That's a small thing, but an indicator that housekeepers weren't detail-oriented and were not properly trained or supervised.

We will not stay at a Comfort Inn again.

I stayed at this Hotel this past weekend with our hockey team. I was very hesitant to stay after reading the other reviews on this site, but decided to try it so that we could be with the whole team. I am rather fussy when it comes to accomodations and so was the other hockey mom I was sharing a room with, so we were somewhat skeptical going in and had made a pact that we would both switch hotels if it wasn't up to our standards. Well we were very pleasantly surprised with what we ended up with. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of foods to suit all tastes and diets. There was fresh coffee available all day as well as hot water for tea or hot chocolate. I enjoyed taking a hour one day to sit in the cozy lobby and read a magazine, have a hot cup of tea while my son played his favorite internet game on the computer. We were even treated to fresh baked cookies!! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They were more than happy to let us use the breakfast room one night to have a little birthday party for one of the boys! The only missing amenities that I would have liked are an indoor pool and in-room mini fridge and microwave. Other than that I would definitely stay there again. The value for the price was excellent! Great job guys!

Friendly efficient staff and room was modern and clean.
Breakfast was slightly above the typical fare.
Incredible buffet restaurant right across the parking lot and a great location on N Division for hitting the shopping spots.

I chose to spend the extra few dollars for the jacuzzi suite and will never live it down. The carpet was bright green, the tub was brown, and there was mosquito netting around the bed. The bathroom was so small my husband had to stand in the shower to close the door.

The jets on the jacuzzi are not aimed properly, and we ended up soaking the carpet. I doubt we were the first. The tiles right next to the tub are cracking and water was getting under them.

But the location is good. There are free cookies in the evening. The hot tub in the basement is nice. There's also a games room for the kids. And it was inexpensive.

Breakfast was okay, but get there early. It was really crowded, and there wasn't enough time for everyone to get themselves something. Not enough tables or toasters. I think they need to extend their hours.
