Had breakfast with a friend on a freezing, snowy day.
Tried the "Eggs Nicole", as the restaurant described it "A dish as beautiful as its name - a delectable blend of skillfully sauteed, fresh mushrooms, spinach and onions prepared with scrambled eggs and Swiss cheese on a open face croissant, with a covering of Hollandaise sauce. Served with our potato pancakes".
The dish was exactly as described as well as delicious. Unobtrusive yet competent service and prompt refills of water and coffee. The smiling and cheerful servers certainly brightened up an otherwise gray, chilly day.
They also have some unusual breakfast items such as their three inch high apple pancake souffle, German baked pancake and Swedish pancakes with imported Swedish lingonberries.
Lunch is served as well.
