“No reason to go back”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2013

$9.00 for a small poached egg 2.5 in diameter sausage patty chewy bisquit lukewarm gravy and some disgusting greasy potatoes and onions. No garnish or fruit in sight. Throw in an annoying and inattentive waitress and you get a quick look a weekday breakfast at the old Mill.
No return trips necessary.

“Simple, friendly, and good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2013

This out-of-the way restaurant in an old historical building provides generous servings of simple, hearty fare; we had linguini with smoked salmon. Not a fancy place, but friendly with good service.

“What Happened!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

9/8/13 was, most likely, the last time we'll visit the Old Mill Café. The dining room was almost empty but we had to wait almost 30 minutes for a table to be cleared. Our wait person didn't warn us that the kitchen was very slow and we waited almost 40 minutes for our meals. This was not our experience with the Old Mill during previous visits but there are too many new and/or other restaurants in town to need to put up with poor service. I was disappointed.

“Charming, tasty, great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

The Old Mill has a wonderful ambiance with a lot of logging mill history and a woman's touch. The food is consistently excellent (don't pass up the crème brulee), the service is consistently excellent, and the prices won't make you gasp.

Wow. 2 Dungeness crab cakes topped w/ a poached egg on each w/ a special sauce. Fried potato strips and an English muffin or tomatoes. Really yummy.
