“Convenient location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014

A convenient location to airport. The hotel itself needs a serious renovation. The carpets are horribly stained and the rooms are very small. We were a family of 4 staying there before our flight out and we were walking on top of each other in the room. Staff is friendly. Hallways have an odd smell to them. Stay in the back of the hotel on the top floor to watch the planes take off and land.

The hotel is in serious need of upgrading. the carpets were filthy the floor felt unstable especially after getting off the elevator on the 4th floor. ( i almost fell) the walls need paint and the general appearance of the whole structure is in poor condition. The staff on the other hand could not have been more helpful. They were terrific. Would probably not stay there again until it had some serious repairs.

For a couple of nights, it's tastefully decorated, clean and friendly. All except the night receptionist talking on the phone expressing very loudly the downfalls of her boyfriend. Her voice kept interrupting the voice prompts for the phone call I was on. That was crazy?

We were already in 4 hotels on our trip before this one. It was nothing exceptional. The rooms were quite good, you even get a coffee machine which was nice. The breakfast is typically American with loads of sugary stuff and barely anything healthy, but its free, so I can't complain too much. The shuttle service from the airport was ok, but it was a bit late for the trip back.

Getting to Seattle using public transit is a bit slow. You have to walk for about 20-30 minutes to the first light rail station (near the airport) and it takes another 20 or so to get to downtown. I believe it was around $5 per person for a whole day ticket. After arriving in Seattle, you can buy a bus ticket (around $2.5) which is good for 2-3 hours and you can change any number of buses (be sure to ask for "paper transfer", otherwise you can't use free transfers). We managed to see the troll, woodland park and university campus with just one bus ticket.

Well, the place doesn't get that many stars but it is very convenient, near many stores (seven/eleven besides it). The train station to downtown is close buy and shuttle takes you there and also does pick ups as to airport.
Train is $5.50 roundtrip and takes 45-60min to go downtown.
Room is simple but have everything offered and is clean. Needs some modifications, so if you are about details it is not an option for you. Limited supplies in bathroom as well.
