Quick check in, friendly service and beautiful, clean rooms. All things I look for in a hotel. This hotel has been remodeled and is beautiful. All staff greeted me and were eager to serve. The waitstaff in the morning at the breakfast. Buffet could not have been more helpful. I am definitely going to be back!

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza downtown for the first two nights of our trip (excellent) but had an early morning flight and decided to stay closer to the airport. Once we arrived at the hotel the front desk was extremely helpful. We told them we still had dinner/show reservations downtown (we had a car) and they informed us of the following: they charge for parking so they recommended we take the car back and take advantage of the tram which goes right downtown. They saved us so much money! The walkway to the airport is less than a block away and it also takes you to the tram. Room 1123 was a bit small but a nice corner room that had views of Mt. Rainier which was great to see. Can't say enough about the staff!

Room Tip: Rm 1123, a bit small, but a corner room with views of Mt. Rainier

We stayed here one night after finding a deal on Orbitz a couple weeks back. The good news first: our room was very clean and spacious, the staff was friendly, and the bed was comfortable. The guy that checked us in was friendly and efficient. The location is very good too, as the Sounder train is just a 2 minute walk away. Lastly, the WiFi is free! Now the not so good news: First off, we booked the room thinking we had paid for it 100% upfront. We were sadly mistaken. When we arrived at the hotel (by car) we had to obtain a parking pass for $19. This fee was never mentioned on Orbitz. Furthermore, there are other secure lots up and down the street that are cheaper than $19 night - as well as more hotels that don't charge for parking within walking distance of the Crowne Plaza. (what I am getting is that yes, I was ripped off) Second, the complimentary coffee in the room is awful. (powered cream? C'mon guys! YUCK!) It is really not good... we ended up going to McDonald's to get coffee. I really hope that someone at Crowne Plaza realizes that your brand is worth more than the crappy coffee you serve in the rooms - you are doing a disservice to yourselves and guests. Lastly, upon checking out, both of the people that helped us did not ask us how our stay was. Hopefully more training can be provided to rectify this issue. All in all, we enjoyed the room - but would probably choose another hotel the next time we are in the area.

I knew when the staff began to speak that I had made a good choice. I was checked in with speed and efficiency. All my question were answered and more choices given.
The lobby is decorated to a high standard with no fingrpri ts on the highly polished surfaces. The lift was quiet and the floor was a wood effect so that it absorbed the noise of its passengers and their luggage.
My room was wonderful. It was decorated in neutral tones with pictures to complement the colours.
The room was absolutely spotless and dust would not dear to tread. The bed was very comfortable and pillows to match. The sheets were freshly ironed and not a crease in sight.
There was a desk from which to work from with a host of power points. The television was modern and hosted a multitude of channels.
There was complimentary welcome pack, coffee and complimentary bath products.
The bathroom was lovely. The water was hot, not cold or luke warm but hot. This was fantastic after a very long journey.
The bathroom held a mountain of towels. You'll struggle to use them all.
I had room service and the meal arrived when they said it would. The breakfast was good and the food was fresh and plentyful.
I used the shuttle bus to the airport. The WiFi is free and there are no hotspots in the hotel.
I would stay here again.

Booked a room for one night through Hotwire. Received a handicap room directly across from the elevators. Very noisy and uncomfortable. The hotel itself seems to have been renovated recently but the room I was given was not good. Did not seem to be high occupancy so not sure why the hotel would choose to put a guest in this room if other rooms were available.

Good hotel to too far from the airport with a quick shuttle ride or as another reviewer mentioned a 10 min walk. However on the second night the was no cable or tv and was not mentioned at check in. This is why I am giving it a 3 out of 5.

Stayed at this location for 5 nights on a business trip. I was a little skeptical about this hotel, as I have not had great experiences at other Crowne Plaza Hotels. This one was clean and comfortable and appeared to have been remodeled recently. Breakfast was very good every morning and wait staff was very helpful and attentive. The food provided by the hotel during our business meetings was excellent. Room was comfortable and had a European feel to it. They do need more drawers/storage space for clothes (especially for long trips or families traveling together). Hotel is about 20 minutes outside of downtown.
