“Too late to go home...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

So I was flying in on a late flight and needed to be on an earlier flight so rather than go home, decided to stay at airport.

The hotel was offering a special for the night that couldn't beat. They just rebranded and remodeled and the did a great job.

Check in was awesome. The two young pople working the desk at around 9pm were awesome. Very helpful and friendly. The woman in the morning was efficient but not near as friendly.

The room was spacious and updated with all the amenities one would need. They got very creative with the layout. Liked the sliding door to the bathroom and the shower was nicely updated. The overall bathroom was small which would have been an issue for two people in the room. The toilet hung on the wall versus mounted to floor which seemed a little strange to me. Dual flush though to save water.

Didn't stop at the lobby bar but looked very nice. No fitness center visit either.

Oh, the best part...very close to airport...go to light rail station, walk across bridge and down the stairs. Literally a 10 minute walk.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I live 90 miles north of the Seattle Airport so I've stayed at this hotel several times when traveling, taking advantage of it's competitively priced park & fly rate. It used to be a Holiday Inn but now a complete modernization/renovation has been completed and it has been renamed Crowne Plaza Seattle Airport. It is a popular spot for arriving & departing travelers who are greeted by a friendly, professional and accommodating staff. The rooms are modern, clean, quiet with nice furnishings, a good tv & channel selection & a modern, clean bathroom with good toiletries. I had a club sandwich in the bar/restaurant and it was quite satisfactory. The bar/restaurant crew aims to please. Finally, the airport shuttle runs frequently and punctually and goes directly to the gates in just 5 minutes or so. It's an airport hotel one would be hard pressed to find a complaint with. If you're thinking about finding cheap eats like a Subway nearby, however, you won't find anything; I tried walking in both directions from the hotel and there's nothing around.

Stayed after getting in very late from the east coast. We took the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located, and the shuttle runs every twenty minutes. The hotel is updated, and the rooms very comfortable. We had a king room on the second floor, but it was still very quiet. The bed was great. The free wifi worked well for email purposes. We added the breakfast option to our reservation. The breakfast buffet was sufficient - eggs, yogurt, potatoes, meat, cereal, fresh fruit, juice, etc. The wait staff was excellent (friendly and helpful).

This beautifully and uniquely decorated hotel could not be more convenient or affordable. It is right next to the airport but surprisingly quiet. It is also right next to a LINK light rail line that takes you into Seattle for a reasonable fare. There is a charge for parking but if you make a business select rate reservation, the fee is comped. They also comped my daughter's parking fee when she joined us for breakfast before we left.

The breakfast buffet has many tasty choices and may be comped with the business select reservation. We actually ate there several times and found the lunch and dinner options to be very good as well. Service is excellent and unobtrusive.

We often stayed at this property when it was a Holiday Inn and we were flying out of SeaTac. We had always been able to get connecting rooms for our group of 5 travellers. When I called to make the reservation, I was informed that they would try to book connecting rooms for us, but it wouldn't be guaranteed until we arrived (NOT how it worked when it was a Holiday Inn). When we arrived, we were told that the request for connecting rooms wasn't noted on the reservation and that they did not have any available. One of our two rooms stank like cigarette smoke. The reservations clerk did not tell us that the property now charges guests for parking ($19 a night!). The bathroom doors are sliding ones on a track above the door. This means that the doors do not seal like a traditional door (so much for privacy!) and it would be a disaster for anyone travelling with toddlers (high potential for little fingers or toes to get caught by the door). They did a great job on the reno (very modern) and the facility is very clean (with the exception of the smell in one room). However, they were not able to meet our needs for this trip and did not seem particularly interested in doing so. We paid a higher price for less satisfying services. We will look elsewhere for our next stay.

Dear JaneDoeOntario,

Thank you for your feedback. We take our guest comments very seriously and always strive to provide comfortable and friendly accommodations. We appreciate your high score with regards to cleanliness.

However, we’re sorry we fell below your expectation regarding the room condition, customer service ad parking arrangement which was unacceptable. We will address these concerns. I assure you that the feedback of our hotel will be reviewed and most certainly forwarded to the appropriate departments. We take the confidence our guests place in us very seriously and work diligently to rectify any unsatisfactory experiences. We hope you give us a chance in the future to show you how great our hotel is.

Sincerely,

Orlando A.

We selected this hotel for its 24/7 airport shuttle service and for its close proximity (just a few steps away) to the light rail station. That was all good. What exceeded our expectation was the facilities it provided. Normally, I probably wouldn't even notice this but one of us was on a very restricted diet who practically cannot find anything to eat in most restaurants. She brought some food she made and to our major surprise, the hotel offers the use of a microwave, utensils, and so many other little things so one could heat and eat the food one brings to the hotel. You would think this is because the hotel doesn't have a restaurant. The restaurant even gave a plate to use when requested so she didn't have to heat up her food in a plastic container. So generous of them. We were very grateful, the restricted diet has been very difficult to live with, the help we received here was a godsend! Thank you!

It's so small, and I felt locked in, such a weird redo over of an old hotel. No water pressure, and that modern tiny sink.. TINY... Omg it's so small.
I wouldn't stay there again!
The room service was more than the room. Lol
